8:53 - You have my sympathy. I hate Ash Blossom so much because of its ridiculous scope. Even if it's not possible to send a card to the grave with Luna's effect because they play 1 copy of their monster, Ash Blossom can STILL negate it. My personal experience with this stupid foreheaded runt was with Time Thief Redoer. Redoer had no Spells as material, meaning it wasn't possible to draw a card, but Ash is able to negate it ANYWAY because drawing a card was included in the CARD TEXT. This means that Ash Blossom is able to negate things that have nothing to do with what it's supposed to negate just because what it's supposed to negate is in the card text. It's so stupid.

Stuck in D1 its a vicious cycle, its either win one loose one or win 3 and then loose 3. I'm assuming its because of the current format Yubel is going crazy so the anti meta stuff comes like Stun and Control decks

Its just that stun has only 43-45% win rate. Yes those decks piss opponents off. But they arent that successfull (especially going second) and consistent.. yes you dont need starters, but you also have no combos. The moment the opponend found a litl gap in the stun, you‘re done. Counter traps and most stun cards are useless after the opponent already established their board and have negates and shit.. And if you cant break it, you also loose.

I’m staying in platinum willingly where I can match against interesting variety because I know there’s only the hell of the same exact 5 super meta decks that will only make me want to rip my skin off my face. The incentive for the amount of grinding and effort it’d take is beyond disrespect anyway so I never understood the point other than self satisfaction

Platinum is genuinely so crazy to get thru sometimes bc there’s a combination of people playing top tier stuff to grind thru their ranks and also people playing annoying bs bc they don’t care about their rank

There are so many overpowered decks right now in the ladder, im stuck in master 3-4 aswell for like a month 😂

I was stuck there for a while because every time I had one win to go, the game either froze or my connection cut out - 11 str8 game with one win to get to master 5 -- rigged...? now @ master 4

I'm in diamond 3 but the highest I got to was master 3 if you need help ill help ya best you can tbh stun is good but it's definitely hut or miss and I would recommend it when you're trying to break the Plat barrier to diamond

After seeing this, I'm no longer upset being stuck in Msster 3 this season. For some reason, it's harder to climb this season, probably because so many stun strategies roaming around

Well it depends on whats your objective. If it's farming monthly gems, p1 usually enough to get easy 1k. If you want pride, then go level up but you'll more likely to get less than 1k gems per month once you set foot in diamond, unless you have much free time to play like 16 hours per day.

Only thing i hate about this game is the wacky coin toss, i swear to god from 10 matches that i play 47 of those are always going second and bricking to oblivion. I would like if they would change it in a way that you at least can choose an option like rock, paper & scissors or a freaking roll dice.

Going second geomathmech final sigma turbo works every time. It boils down to kaiju, or any 3k monster or lower on their field, equals one hit death.

Same here, I have like 30% win ratio for my coin flip. Even though I have tear, yubel, se fk, I refuse to play them. I only play zefra, supreme odd-eyes, DDD... But the always have many negates goin 1st.

I made it to Diamond V once, it was just shortly after I competed in the Master Duel World Championship qualifiers. It is even harder to stay there than it is to get there in the first place.

I have been having the same problem. Just leveled up to D5 after a week of reaching P1 5 or 6 times
