Just wanna clarify the comments I picked were not selective at all. I responded to literally every single criticizing comment that was posted on my channel at that time of recording, which was just over 2 weeks ago. Any criticism comments made that you didn't see in this video are most likely new, or were held for review and only recently approved. There are certainly bigger problems, however there's already tons of videos about them. (Inappropriate outfits, development issues, lack of body types, masculine items, cherryblossom set, unfulfilled developer promises), all of these have already had videos on them, and loads of them for that matter. I argue that making another video just like that relaying all the same points people have already said is even more unhelpful than talking about a unique issue that many might not have considered. The purpose of this video and the last was to start a discussion, and in that respect I think this video has done very well!

@@elizabethgalicia6069 There are certainly bigger problems for sure and I'm not saying this is a serious problem, I just wanted to make something different from the perspective of a game developer about how certain behaviours of royale high users have been inhibiting the accessibility of certain features for newer players. Also I'm super bad at editing videos with natural flow so yeah they're kinda long, sorry about that. Watching at 2x speed helps haha

I didn't want to mention it because I didn't want to presume, but I had a feeling that a lot of RH users are paranoid about their outfits. Certain styles being mimicked can be seen as copying to a lot of people, or using certain combos or color palettes. ​@@HollersHolly WOOP TY! as someone who is pretty uncertain and overthinking a lot, i definitely feel paranoid when people seem to "copy" me but they just put like the same item or 2 that i have on as another idea for their outfit (there were even a few times where people did try to full on look almost exactly like me). but hey, im glad my comment helped in a way! you're welcome! :D

@FlamingoGurl Like I addressed in the video, some people CAN'T ask! Whether it be because they're console players, or selectively mute. This needs to be understood and respected. The outfit preview was made so no one HAS to ask :')

@@kittykatherina8396 So great to see other mute players! However I'd advise to try and stop copying outfits out of spite. Remember, they're all doing it out of fear, and that needs to be understood. Treating gatekeepers with understanding and encouragement against gatekeeping is the best way to get them to change! Always fight negativity with positivity ❤️

@@mochiqaa I highly doubt you'll ever get your outfit copied in your lifetime in Royale High. It has never happened to me in my 6 years of playing, nor have I ever seen someone else get their outfit copied. You shouldn't have to worry! <3

Holy i didn't mean a comment war 😂 this comment is a joke, but damn- this went on. I honestly don't gatekeep sinse. I don't think no one would care about what I wear, so it's not really an issue because they only like your journal more than look at preview. But if you do want to see my outfit and what could inspire just look at my preview or asked what combos or toggles I use but I understand that both sides are very insecure cause one side wants to ask but they are afraid of being shut down. The other doesn't mind, but they are afraid they might be "copied" so they don't trust anyone.

@wonyounglsm I'd like to clarify sure there are bigger issues on Roblox. For some reason people assumed that I think this is a big issue, all I ever said was that it was an unspoken issue :'3 I'm aware that there are bigger problems on royale high, and I agree! The Devs have some of the poorest management I've ever seen in a front-page game. Inappropriate outfits are rampant, there's a severe lack of accessories for masculine presenting players, plus size players, and players with disabilities. However, these are topics that we KNOW are bad. And so many videos are already out there on those topics. I wanted to bring to light a unique problem that I've found in Royale High and affects the players that cannot speak up about it, and there are commenters here who agree with me. This video was, above all else, to start a conversation. And I think that in that respect the video was a wild success! Me personally, I've found one of the biggest issues with the royale high community is the toxicity it has managed to foster. I'm aware that my video has appeared on twitter that a certain user tweeted, and it has encouraged users to leave nasty comments that have nothing to do with the points I've made, but insulting me as a person, my age and appearance. Toxicity on twitter is ironically something I spoke about in the video and I plan on releasing a new video in the coming days addressing this issue. Thank you for your comment <3

God I can't wait for you to see my follow-up video. So many people commenting the same point and I'm tired of having to respond each time with the same counter argument. If people don't wanna do an interview that's fine, however if they don't wanna do it because they're afraid of being proved wrong, then it sounds like they're just close-minded to me, prioritizing being right over change for good. Also find a timestamp where I straight out called them crazy. I respond to all my comments when I can (both negative AND positive) because I want my audience to feel that I'm listening to them and properly considering what they're saying and giving my opinions. ​@HollersHolly I find this hard to believe, all the side comments and then last scene with your dorm? Are you really kicking preteens and teens out of your dorm because of a sticker? I mean, it is quite easy to see what a player is wearing. The only time I feel like your point is valid is when someone has crazy layering on their outfit or they are a beginner. But then I feel like crazy layering outfits would be more safe guarded by me since I put a lot more effort into them. I am not saying all players are like this, but if you need to take parts of someone else outfit to make yours, you're not much of a creative person. Sad because I supported the dolls video, but this one is unnecessary....

In my 6 years of playing Royale High I've never seen a fit get copied. All the content creators I know change their fits very regularly. Very few have impersonators and the ones that do can easily just have their profiles checked to see if they're real or not. Sorry to sound rude by thinking people are lying but from my experience I've never seen anyone get their fits stolen to such a degree that it overpowers the need for the outfit preview. I'd love to see proof though.

@@HollersHolly there has been so much proof and have been so many callouts. Also, just because you've never seen or experienced this yourself doesn't mean you can say it doesn't happen AND doesn't mean you can call people liars. It's really rude to the people who have been copied and are uncomfortable by it.

​@HollersHolly Yes, that's true. But when you think about a UA-camr they have a look that is memorable for their fans to find them and know it's them, so it's very important. Influencers get impersonated a lot because of ways to copy and steal their outfit so, it's very important. Plus, for proof of copying I just realized you can just search up videos about it. Since you wanna be ignorant until you see proof. Also, when whenever you go into Sunset Island the reason why all the players look the same is because they are copying one another, and trust me you can tell when people rip off other peoples outfits.

@@fae.ivuria Firstly I didn't intend for my Pinterest point to mean "go on Pinterest and re-create what you see" I feel like people in the mindset of covering their outfit preview for copying would assume that I meant to copy and I didn't. As a professional illustrator who uses references for art every day, I can assure you that using such references doesn't make you less creative, nor an impeachment of your "own creativity". I really do honestly feel that the button being covered as an aesthetic choice because it looks 'ugly' is more of a stretch and a sub-reason for the REAL reason which is that they just want people to not use the button at all.

@@fae.ivuria With the liquorice sticks point, I implore you to to find a timestamp where I said all liquorice sticks were outfit gatekeepers. Because you won't. The closest I said was "most liquorice sticks are outfit gatekeepers". And I'm right haha, about 75% of their journals have the preview covered. Talk about creativity eh?

@@fae.ivuria with your point on decals, it's important to remember that if you upload your own custom decals (like, LITERALLY uploading them onto Roblox on the create page as a developer product" no one else can use your decal even if they have its ID. They can only use it if set public so there's no risk of outfits with custom fabrics being stolen. I should have mentioned that in the video.

@@fae.ivuria With your fitcon point, this really does just feel like a "what if" because I've never seen this happen, and I've never seen anyone called out for this happening. Fitcons are usually posted on twitter meaning everyone participating has twitter, and it's incredibly easy to call people out for copying something made during a competition, and the hosts are often very reasonable with claims of copying and take it seriously. I don't consider this point a practical one considering I'm not talking about fitconners, I'm talking about players going about their daily lives grinding etc.
