Nope, doesn't fix anything for me, neither do the others. How is it that all these people who claim to have "THE" solution, only offer one of the many options? None of them have worked so far. Where is the guy on UA-cam that has more brans and shows all potential causes?

Thanks a ton bro! I didn't have the apple motion. How it worked for me was by opening the .moti file and deleting the separator layer section. E.g: <layer name="Separators" id=""> ... </layer>

FCPX 10.6.3 M1 Monterey Plug in problem. Help please? Hello, not sure if this is the right place but wanted to ask for some suggestions/help. In FCPX 10.6.3 Monterey M1, I have a ton of plug-ins, FX Factory, Lenox, COlorfinale , basically all my plugins that work but after a short while I get plug in not responding and get the dreaded red error frame even while I have FCPX 10.6.3 open and working. I have to quit FCPX and then start it again and they all work again for a short period. It is driving me crazy actually. Anybody have any suggestions what might be causing this. I searched on UA-cam and tried everything they have suggested but thought someone here might have the same problem or know what I can try to fix it. I would really really appreciate it bc I cannot figure out what the problem seems to be. Even ColorFInale does this. I was thinking about upgrading to 10.6.4 to see if that might solve it but I am in the middle of a pretty big project at the moment. Every 10 minutes or so I have to restart FCPX and then continue working. Driving me crazy. If I try to reinstall FCPX 10.6.3 will I have to install all my plug-ins again? PS. This happens on all my plugins from different companies and all up to date Plugins. Thank you very much for any other suggestions. This happens on any project over the last 2-3 weeks. This error just happened in the middle of editing. It was fine and after 10 minutes or so I randomly get this on any or all plugins.

It only works for a while but after a few minutes, it will turn back to its same error :( I tried multiple potential fixes found in UA-cam but none ever worked. :(

I had problems with plugins from pixelfilm studios and fxfactory after installing macOS big sur. A developer from pixelfim studio controlled my computer and fixed all plugins from pixelfilm studios. Thanks man! I deleted all the plugins from fxfactory and deleted the fxfactory app. Then I installed the app again, and all the plugins were back and was working. That was my solution after spending hours trying to solve it all by myself.

I recently got a new mac with macOS 12.3.1 and FCP 10.6.1, now when I open my old projects from the previous FCP i get a red screen error on any clip that uses an effect. I'm just using the basic FCP effects, I don't think I have any plug ins. I get a red screen for any clip when I apply any effect or any generator. Is this video just for addressing plugin problems? What about just basic effects?

This was great! The problem is our plug-ins have multiple Items. How can you change the settings of them all at the same time rather than individually going through each? That woulnd't be possible with the majority of our plug-ins.

50 dollar purchase BTW, in March 2022 for motion file app.

Actually, for me, it was a hell of a lot easier just to reinstall the title or effect. Most of mine are from Motion VFx so I just used their installer to painlessly fix it in seconds.

Many commercial plug-ins will not open in Motion. What do you do there.
