People don’t like the question but Charlie munger answered it in the best way possible. Sometimes just knowing that you have enough is the best way to live life and how much money you have at a certain point doesn’t matter. Chasing more is hedontic treadmill

To those who are annoyed at the person coughing, this is the best meditation practice for you! Allow that you are annoyed, allow that you cannot relax. If these emotions are in the awareness, you are meditating. No need for focus or relaxation.

Are the 13f filings always published after 45 days? It says that they must be reported after 45 days at the latest. So can an investor register his trades just a few days after the end of the quarter, or are they still only published after 45 days? And... are the filings published at a certain time on the 45th day?

Free market plus STEM is the winning formula for long-term sustained economic growth. Political regime is not. That central insight is kind of profound. But it does not sound like something that would take a smart person 30, 40 years to figure out. That STEM is a main driver of modern economy is clear as day. Free market has been the main buttress of western economics. I can easily imagine those two being the engine of economic miracle. Why did Li Lu take so long to realise that? What am I missing here?
