Where's the bottom ?? 😮
I absolutely adore you and your willingness to share your craft with others! For someone that makes these for a living, your helpfulness is greatly appreciated! You’re truly amazing! Thank you for sharing your tips and tricks! 💜🙏💜
You are so welcome! 🩷
Looks delicious
Thank you 😋
U be killing in the fake cake game 🔥
❤️❤️❤️ thanks so much!
Do you put the confetti on the top, wait, and then spray that with the rust-oleum paint? Plus I made a cake and the puff fell off the top. Could you tell me what I did wrong? The painted top was dry, is that the reason? Thank you for these videos, they are so helpful.
Yes. Paint it, sprinkle confetti let everything dry, ( a few days)then spray . Anytime you’re going to pipe, it should be applied when the paint is wet to insure that it sticks. Thank you for watching ❤
Excelente gracias ❤ will be great if you can make a video making flowers 🌺 yo add
Hello! I do already have a video for making flowers. But I can definitely make another. There are so many variations., Thank you for your comment! 🩷
Thank you for such a clear and detailed demonstration. It was straight to the point and exactly what I needed.
You are so welcome 🩷
Gorgeous ❤
Thanks so much!
Beautiful 🖤
Thank you! Cheers!
so cuteeee❤❤❤❤
That’s so nice of you. Thank you!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ right back at you!
It is BEAUTIFUL.I know this is obvious but it makes me think of Miss Havisham.
What do you use to keep it still while piping the border?
A lot of times I keep the top unpainted and steady it with my hand while I’m piping on the sides and bottom. Then paint the top, then top it off. Hope that helps!
What tip was on the first one ? Looks like a 1M but bigger ?
So pretty ❤
Thanks so much!❤
They are so pretty ❤
That’s very nice of you to say. Thank you!
I appreciate you sharing the video. What kind of spackling do you use? Could you please tell me the tip numbers? Thank you! Xo
Tip 104. Dap spackling. Thanks for watching!

Tip 104
Great job ❤
Amazing.. your a great teacher
Thank you! 😃
i love it !! :3
Thank you! 💖💖💖
So helpful ❤ thanks I'm doing a birthday cake for the first time
How fun! Be patient with yourself. It just takes practice 🎂💖🎂💖
❤❤❤❤❤🥰🥰🥰👍👍👍
Stunning! I can’t believe I’m just now finding you. May I ask what spackle you use? I’ve tried multiple types. Not one I love for piping until…flop! 😩 Then the other seems to pipe out in spurts. Currently I’m mixing RD and Dap. Seems to be the best yet but buying and mixing two can be a pain lol!
Welcome! I use Dap for piping. I mix it in the container to get to a more smooth consistency. I usually paint after it dries. I find if you add paint before you pipe the piping can get too loose and not hold its shape. Thanks for watching!
@@auntbecksbakery6336 thank you so much for answering. Normally I don’t add paint to my spackle (not the Dap at least) but I do add a strong coloring concentrate that I love! Painting after is so smart. After I watched a few of your videos I noticed what you used and how. Very smart! Thank you for the amazing tutorials and again, for taking time to answer back. 💜

That's impressive
Great
Your work is truly amazing 😊
Thank you so much 😀 I appreciate the compliment 🩷
I especially like the horizontal stripes, however, I have spent the last 4 years perfecting SMOOTH icing, so I will not be doing any of these! But thanks for the tuts you keep doing, you are my fav!!
If you’ve got smooth icing down, then you can do anything!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Thank you! ❤
Lovely!
Thanks a bunch! 💐💐💐
I love your tutorials. Is a small star tip like a Wilton 32 or smaller? Is it closed or open star? Is the big one you made the shells with a 1M? This cake is gorgeous! The yellow is such a gentle, buttery yellow. I'm working toward making a circus-themed cake with vintage toppers and clown picks for myself once I get enough practice. 😁
I’ll get back to you on those questions. I know I have to work on being more specific. Just keep practicing on it, you’ll get there! 🩷🩷🩷
@@auntbecksbakery6336 Thank you for your reply!
Hello! The tip numbers are Rose 104, Star tip 21, Writer tip 5, Large star tip for top is 828 but it's not a Wilton
@@auntbecksbakery6336 Thank you so much! I appreciate your help!

GORGEOUS 💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
Where is the best place to buy dummy cakes. Thank you so very much for the video
Do you always base coat your dummies with spackle.
Yes, always, every time. Then wait to sand a bit, if it needs it, then paint. Thanks for watching!
Beautiful cake and great frosting tips!!💜💜💜
Thanks so much 😊
LOVE!
I just found your channel and I love or tutorials I never thought of spackling before you paint why isn't it done at that time, keep making your tutorials I absolutely love them ❤
Hello! Thank you so much! It does take a little more time to paint after but I feel like the spackling gets too loose and loses its form if you add paint first.
Beck, I just found your channel how do you color the cake after you frost it
Hello! You paint it. After the frosting is dry. About 24-48 hours later.
I loved❤
So cute
This is construction at its finest! Tools, glasses, a mask and spackle, it feels like a proper job. I love it. What a great idea and thank you for sharing. ♥ I made my first cake slice, it took ages but I am getting more confident.. thank you for all your tutorials. I find a piece of denim to clean the hot knife blade works very well. 💖 Can you add a link for the sparkles? I looked on Amazon and cant see any like it.
Hello! Thank you so much! I appreciate your comment. ❤ I’ll look for that info and follow up soon.
Hello! I do sand some of them . I use a medium sanding block. It can get pretty messy. I do wear a mask. I used to glue boards to the bottom of all my cakes and sell them like that with a matching ribbon around the edge of the board. But I have stopped glueing the majority of the cakes I make to boards. Thanks for your questions! 💖
Thank you! ❤
New here to fake bake and never heard anyone using house paints so in this case it’s thicker so less paint than using the standard acrylic paints I would think? Also do you buy flat, satin, eggshell? The paper sprinkles don’t fade or do you seal the whole thing with acrylic spray? Finally what did you use for the cherry? Sorry lots of questions but trying to learn and love this ❤ 👏🏻 👏🏻 thx for sharing!
I love it! All spackle...WOW! Thanks for the tutorial! 🥰
You are so welcome!
Hi! This is so cute! I love your tutorials! In one of them, you said you sand your cakes to make them smooth. Do you use extra fine sandpaper until it's completely smooth? I'm familiar with using sandpaper with resin, but it's done wet (to keep from inhaling resin dust) and not dry. I know this is dry because you said wear a mask. Oh, and one more question......you hot glue the cake to the cake board to keep it from moving around. Do you peel it off once the cake is finished and dry or does the customer do that when they get the cake?
Looove it!!!!! I will try to make it.😍
Have fun! I’d love to hear about your results 🍦🍦🍦
Very pretty!
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful ❤❤❤
Thank you! Cheers! 🎂🎂🎂
