How exactly is that a PUB BAR? You can't even get behind what I think he is calling the bar.
Great Job Dave as always, well done
Glad you enjoyed it
Good to see you back at it! I hope you guys have a great new year! Looking forward to seeing your new shop progress!
Man i am really glad to see you getting the shop put back together, looking good man 👍 i haven't forgot about you just been crazy busy 😉👍 keep grinding and looking forward seeing you making again soon

@therelaxingwoodshop7495 Happy New Year 🎉
he is back!!
Great to have you back here... We missed you. Here's to a great 2025 for TRWS🎉 Onwards and upwards.
I've just enjoyed your unboxing and review of the Laguna 12/16 and have subscribed. Did you make a follow up video to give your thoughts on it after using it? Many thanks. Paul
Great to see you back! Cant believe its been a year already and i still haven't got any videos up myself :s
Whoop whoop I’m so glad to see you back!!! 🎉
Nice to see you back Dave! Hope you have a good Christmas :)
Well after all that you've got a clean slate to work with. Like your wee woodburner. Cheers mate and happy Christmas to you all there.
Thanks Mark, Happy New Year
We’re back. Thank you to everyone for all your support

Love it. Gotta start making some robots myself!
With all things being as they are your boys mam must be 19foot tall, and the size of him, he picked that up easier that I pick up a cup-a-tea😂😂😂
spooky 😅
Thank you. Fun wee project
At about 3:06 it appears that you forgot to remove the knockout rod from the headstock. No worries, I do it all of the time, ha
Hi Michael. Thank you so much for commenting. For some reason I do it every time. Ps we had a missive oil spill that saw over 200 litres destroy the workshop. Diggers about to start excavation of the floor an then from spring onwards there will be a whole new workshop show (step by step)
@@therelaxingwoodshop7495 It is very nice of you to take the time to reply. Sorry to hear about your incident, but it sounds like better things are coming. Good luck and carpe diem.
NOOOO i just found you guys and this is how things are :((( I hope you bounce back. I've subscribed, and i've only just come across your channel too so i have some older videos to watch. I'm into making stuff as well but I mostly use CAD and a 3D printer. So I'm interested in learning more about woodwork and some of the more traditional methods of making stuff the old fashioned way. Wishing you the best from England <3
thank you so much for subscribing, I will return the support and subscribe to your channel. A whole new workshop is on its way. We have been told the Garage floor is coming up next week
This is awesome! Very creative and i love the way you show it all coming together. Lots of DIY stuff feels like the video was an afterthought but this is very well put together! My only slight constructive criticism is the music choice, i was expecting something a little more relaxing considering your name, like some chillstep maybe. Anyway, loved it! Awesome job!
Thank you for the feedback. Will look at new songs for new videos. love the Dudley council meeting 😂😂
Positive forward momentum brother, keep the positive vibes going and I look forward to seeing the new shop you get, maybey even get some ideas on my workshop I'm currently piecing together, cheers .
keep me posted if you share any videos for your plan. Happy to give a shout out
@@therelaxingwoodshop7495 will do since I’m wanting to keep a record of growing my shop and abilities.
Bugger, sorry to hear about your problems brother,I am a subscriber and not going anywhere, will keep notifications on so I can see the progress from old to new shop. Just remember this could be a blessing in disguise when all is said and done.
Thank you, your awesome. being a geek like myself you should check out our cinema room upgrade. Have some fantastic things that I have collected from Comicon and prop stores.
I’m glad to see things are moving forward for you guys! It definitely stinks that you’ve had to go through this, but hang in there as you build back up, and we’ll stick around too!
Happy New year Hugh . Thanks for the kind words. I have a few great ideas for the shop. I suppose to make an omelette you need to break a few eggs 😀
Sorry to hear that. What a pain in the butt. On the bright side, you were wise enough to be insured & this can be an opportunity to come back better than before with a new improved design. Chin up :)
Thank you so much. Absolutely, a clean slate ( complete melt) but it gives us a plan for 2024
Love this Dave. Keep er lit!!!
Thanks Gemma. Onwards and upwards 😄
Subbed just to show you some support, I found you from Tommy's channel @EireWorkshop who's another woodworker from the Emerald Isle that I really like so I'm gonne spend my time waiting for your return by catching up on your existing content. Good luck and I hope the insurance people don't make things worse than they already are for you.
thank you so so much. love watching Tommy. believe it or not we just got news that the insurance has accepted the claim and is starting in 2 weeks. So garage and driveway is being removed ( I will show the progress) then all new bits. I am going to do a whole new workshop with a dark academia design. thanks again and if you could tell your friends and family it would mean a lot

Very unique design….. Thank you for sharing. Greetings from Oklahoma USA……🇺🇸
Thank you from across the pond in Ireland, Northern Ireland. If you can spare a few minutes more, check out our Whiskey barrel shot glass, made from wood of course 😂😀
So what a massive job not seen this vid till now and my comment was just pure speculation but looks like I was right as for vids they would take a back seat if I had that problem as for the benches I would carry on using them as long as there was no chance of contamination. You have a long road in front my friend but like I said your subscribers will still be there ready to be apart of your new journey good luck my friend and if you can when you can just keep us posted
Thank you Phil. Means a lot. Take care and stay safe
Ugh I’m sorry to hear that guys! We’ll be here whenever you’re able to get back at it!
Thank you Hugh. I will try and get a few out as we get work done. Thanks again for your support
NOT GOING ANY WHERE BUDDY. I WILL ALLWAYS BE WATCHING. I DONT THINK THE OIL WILL HURT THE SHOP BENCH LEGS AT ALL, IT JUST ADDS CHARACTER TO THE WOOD.MAYBE REPLACE THE BOTTOM RUNNERS THAT ARE TOUCHING THE GROUND BUT, THE REST OF THE LEG WILL BE FINE. IF YOU DONT LIKE THE LOOK, JUST VENEER THE BOTTOM OF THE LEG 12 INCHES UP WITH A ACCENT WOOD, THAT WOULD LOOK GREAT.I HOPE THAT HELPS MY FRIEND.
Ah Doug. Thank you for your support and input. I will put this into action once the insurance signs off on what is going to happen. Stay safe and looking forward to seeing amazing videos this Christmas from you
Hey David glad you got the message buddy. I hope things get straightened out there for you real soon and get back to normal. And thank you my friend thank you very much I've got a few little things I'm working on and hope to get them finished up real soon give me yell if I can be of any help with anything my friend
@@fleetswoodshop3339 A true gentleman Doug. Thank you 🙏
You're awesome buddy thank you
Sorry to hear this guys. Thoughts are with you.
Thank you Jim. Means a lot
Ouch not good, hopefully you can take this as an opportunity to rebuild better and document the process for your viewers, you aren't the first to lose a shop to one form of disaster or another and unfortunately won't be the last - see wittworks for the most recent example that comes to mind.
Hi Leigh. Since the incident I have watched a few. I will try to video the work as it progresses but I will be at work while they are here. Thank you so much for your comment. Stay safe
sad news guys. will be here waiting for you when you're back!

Thank you so much. It means a lot. I will make sure to get some videos out on the progress of the work being done
Somehow you just popped up on my feed. Shame to discover your channel after such an incident, but nonetheless you have another subscriber now. Take this as a sign of new beginnings. Bigger and better things to come! I hope you can walk us through the experience and it will help those of us who have yet to setup their shops. That’s a crying shame David , but onwards and upwards, good luck
Hi Phil. All with the insurance, hopefully we can get it all fixed. Hope your keeping well 😀
Good luck! Bright side, lots of content redoing the workshop and you can fix anything that niggled you.
Thank you 👍👍
Concrete destroyed by oil, probably not. 😂
Residual VOCs in that closed space not good for the lungs.

Yea, believe it or not oil is concretes Kryptonite. Who knew
Hi Colby. They drilled into the slab and the oil has made it under the slab, so it has to come all up. Thank you so much for commenting
Holy crap! Dave that’s awful. Will defo be keeping my subscription
Hi Gemma. It’s a kick in the guts
Oh man that is horrible 😢 hopefully you can get everything cleaned up and save a lot of your stuff mate, and right around the holidays i know makes it feel like a lot too, I wish you the best mate

good job, think you could do a video on planning rough cut wood. I have a planer but it scares me and a nice relaxing video might help :)
Thank you so much for the comment. That sounds like an amazing video. Our next video will be a sad video as I have just been told by my son that the oil pipe from our oil tank to the burner has leaked, and the floor in the shop is covered in oil. A clean up video sounds like the next project
Thank you for watching. Nice for relaxers to relax together
Razzle dazzle, man that's nice right there great job and great video as always 👍 cheers man
