@@Sweatz_514 thanks dude! I was pretty satisfied with my pace, even though I know I had some 2:02’s (honestly even high 2:01’s) in me just riding slightly cleaner. Also wish I had gone softer compound rear, but oh well! And yeah, shook my head both races this weekend a couple times lol

@@tyshenry i went with an sc1 in the rear. she did pretty good

@@Sweatz_514 yeah, definitely the right tire, probably could have run a sc0 for CSB even. I actually just switched to Dunlop this round, so I am still in the figure it out phase. I was running an R8 all day which is basically Dunlops SC3. Worked ok for CSS, but not ideal. By CSB it was way wrong. Too hot

@@tyshenry yea ive been told those you got to get them just at the right temp or else no bueno but once you get that figured out shouldnt have issues after that. how did you this season?

@@CubanRider Thanks man! It was sooooo much fun racing CW! I had ridden it once this direction three years ago (third trackday ever) and loved it then. This weekend reminded me how awesome it was and it made for great racing!

Bikes up to 450cc (i think) is allowed. I generally ride my Ninja 400 out there.

Thanks! Totally agree. Racing on a 4 day old tire was less than ideal! Generally I will only race on a tire for 2 days (6ish sessions) and then practice on it for 1-2 more days. After the second day, I notice a pretty decent drop in performance, bike doesn't want to stop or steer. Dudes up front usually running fresh front each day, for sure.

If I could go back in time, obviously I would have picked a better opportunity. But, he blew the entry, was 10 MPH slow mid corner, and I went for it. If the roles were reversed, I would have 100% expected someone to be on the inside and would have been looking over my shoulder. Especially since he had to know someone was right on his tail. And....I was ahead at impact, so there is that.

Yup, agree. I started to hesitate on my decision. Maybe if I would have hung off more and really committed, I could have made enough room for him to see me and react. I am all good, luckily. Bike took almost no damage too.

No, the camera is horizontal in this video. That is the problem with the new 3s, in order to have the video be 16:9, horizontal, the camera has to be horizontal. If the camera is placed vertically, then the video will be 9:16. Super annoying, and why I returned it. Additionally, the FOV is narrower than on the 2 and 3. Maybe the Go 4 will fix all these issues….someday.

Yeah, it was a strange race. Some sprinkles started coming down lap two, but then stopped for a bit, then started around lap 6. It was also different all around the track, so really unpredictable. Previous lap turn 10 was good, this lap....not so. At that point I didn't even have much lean angle and had only rolled the throttle from 20-50% when it let loose. I wish I woulda just called it when it started sprinkling though. Next time I will lol

Kartmoto is awesome. Little bike on the kart track is definitely the cheap seat time hack. If you want to come ride it, just let me know! Anything 450cc or under. Or I have a little Grom you are welcome to ride ;)

Yeah, 2:05.6 best of the day, which was the lap starting at the 4:40 mark. Reasonably quick after a long time off the bike and on some old tires. Really hoping to crack that 2:00 mark at one of the race rounds this year!
