Australia’s multi-GNSS positioning future

Abstract: Satellite navigation and positioning has become a critical component of a modern economy. Economic analysis indicates that an Australian Satellite Based Augmentation System (SBAS) will bring over $6 billion of benefits over the coming 30 years. It is in this context that Australia has been developing a modernised national positioning infrastructure with a focus on open services, data and software. This presentation will overview Australia’s approach to developing positioning infrastructure and will cover our SBAS Program, our open-source multi-Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) Ginan software toolkit, and our open GNSS data and positioning products environment, which we anticipate will create an internationally unique environment for enabling the adoption and development of location-based technology and applications.

Interesting, thx. Any deep MT (Magnetotellurics) as additional ground truth. Didn't get what was your final depth of the deposit before erosion (2-5 or 7km)? In case it is not under your Marine parameters, consider adding erosion at sea level (if GPT is correct, waves shutter granite 3-5 times faster 0.5-1.5cm vs 0.1-0.5/Ma).
