Great 100 mile ride today! It was crazy muddy in some spots but still fun! We started in Johnson Lane then over the top of the mountain to Smith Valley. We then stopped at Rosie's for a great lunch the headed back. Luckily the warm weather dried out the deep mud area on the way home. Polaris Rzr, Kawasaki
East Fork Carson Hot Springs via Polaris Rzr XP 4 Turbo.

Fun day going to the hot springs, but eventful, and unplanned coming home in the dark. We soaked with some long time friends and met some new ones. When we left the other two UTV's went a different route home then we did. I guess it was meant to be because our route we ran into a broke down Toyota that the guy was alone besides his dogs, and no other vehicles with him also. He was cold and piss...

Trailer cover for our 2021 Rockwood Mini Lite 2509S
Thanks for this. We went to look at this today and your review of the bathroom made me realize this is a no go for me!
It's been over 2 years now, do you still have it? if so, do you still like it? Oh, by the way, I love Natures Bakery fig bars.
Thank you. I love the NB bars as well, even though I move on to big and better opportunities! Wen ended up trading it in April of 2023 for a 2023 Stealth SA3320G 5th wheel toy hauler. We liked the trailer but it received damage from the snow accumulation we received during the 2023 winter near the Lake Tahoe are. So we decided to upgrade to a larger trailer for our toys and more room for the family to spread out while on the road.
Love the offset decklid!
That’s undeniably cool
Nice video but no history on ghost town and bad bubblegum music.
Looks like pretty flimsy construction overall
Nice review. We have the nearly identical RV. Interesting, your opinion on the jacks is opposite from ours. I couldn’t love ours any more, but to each their own. We’ve used ours now for a lot longer than you had when you recorded this. Not one single warranty issue. It’s our 13th RV - from diesel pushers, Class C, fifth wheels, some TT’s. This has been the most trouble-free RV we’ve ever owned. Best wishes to you!
Thanks for sharing!
Great video. Thanks, and I think you just talked me into an Oliver. 👍
We just upgraded to a 37' Stealth toy hauler 6 months ago
that big orange truck was a beast!
You should make a video putting the cover on. Is it a 2 person job or can it be done by yourself?
Well I use to do it by myself. We sold this trailer and now have a SA3320G Stealth toy hauler 5th wheel. I just installed a new cover alone on it today!
How did the lift kit work out for you? Do you still love the 2509S? I just put a deposit down on one!
You put it best regarding pulling that trailer with a 1/2 ton versus 3/4 ton. The weight adds a huge difference when towing.
Time warp! That looks like a lot of fun. The kids will never forget that!
Get a 12 v fridge, much bigger freezer to 😎👌🏼
I have the identical twin to your trailer, which is the 2021 Flagstaff Micro Lite 25BRDS. The only real difference between our units is that mine has the 12-volt refrigerator, which I love. We don't camp off-grid and the fridge and freezer get cold very quickly. We also have the same issue with our cabinet doors over the dinette; however, we simply close them in a manner so that they don't sag. We completely bypassed and removed the inside water canister style filter and use an outside inline filter now, as I was worried about emptying the canister during winter storage, as I didn't want it to freeze and crack. My tread on spare tire (Chinese made) completely separated while mounted to the bumper, so please check your periodically. I switched to Goodyear Endurance so that it matches the rest of the tires. We too love our trailer. Great vide and happy camping.
Do they have a bead of silicone around the outside storage compartments my 2507s does not, and he says rockwood doesn’t have to because they have an inner seal not sure … thanks
No, ours did not either. It had a seal between the door frame and trailer siding. It might be a good idea to seal the top and down the sides a couple inches
@@nevadaadventurefamily2735 true thanks
We brought our RV during COVID also, I also notice the same. I am not sure it was because of COVID or Supply Chain issue. It was also a pain buying a RV during COVID, if they didn't have one the lot, then you had to put money down and wait a few months for review it.
I’ve noticed all of you guys have all these complaints take it back to the company and have them fix it. That’s what your warranty is for.🙁🙁🙁
We did.
We stayed in that exact spot a mo th before the earthquake.
Would have been exiting during the quake! We are used to earthquakes in Northern Nevada
Amazing ❤ never new about this place. Thanks for posting
Do you find the 30 gallon grey tank is just way too small. Most trailers this size are 40+
It worked okay. You just have to watch the level and plan ahead for dishes and showers. We mainly used disposable plates, forks, etc. We just traded the trailer a couple of days ago for a Stealth Toy hauler.
@@nevadaadventurefamily2735 I saw that. Looks very nice! Yeah we have two little ones so with baths and all…without full hook ups, we might be emptying the gray tank every other day. Might be the reason we don’t go with a 2509s
@Alex Dwyer We definitely just did a lot of sponge baths.
@@nevadaadventurefamily2735 thanks for your reply
Hey real quick question. I know you don’t have this unit anymore. However, we just purchased a 1 owner 2021 in fantastic shape. After first trip, we notice some very slight floor flexing in a few spots (between kitchen and Murphy bed, that main entrance area) and a few spots back by the bathroom. Again, very slight, but enough to catch my attention (I’m 200lbs and can feel it). Did you ever experience that in your Mini Lite? Seems odd knowing that floor is 5/8 plywood.
Great Video, Like the tip on the stabilizers. I do wish the bathroom had more cupboard storage. Like the shelf unit you have. Does the stuff stay in place on travel days? Is there room to put one of those units that fit over a toilet? I looked at this unit at our RV store. I saw a gap behind the sofa and the bed. We travel with a cat and I don't think this would be safe for her. Can this be blocked to keep a pet from accessing the storage bay? My son suggested maybe a cargo net could be installed over it and then covered with a blanket. Do you have any suggestions. A wider window by the dinette is a good idea. Can two adult bikes fit it he bunk area? How do you like the murphy bed?? We have a hybrid Rockwood Roo 21ss. The beds are getting to be a bit much to set up and take down every trip we take. Hubby has to climb over me to get in and out of the bed.
where is Brent?
Thank you for the thorough review. Blessings.
Ty
Where did you get that shelf in the bathroom?

How long does it last on 1 tank running everything
I don't have that information for you due to we have not had everything running everything for that period of time.
Sweet
You mentioned having an E Pro, & an F150. Did you tow the E pro with the F150? And would you say a standard 1/2 ton is good enough for an E pro? Thanks
1/2 ton is more then plenty for a Epro, We had a Jeep Gladiator and towed our Epro with that as well.
Thank you for your video. We will be in spot #9 here soon! There will be lots of snow for us. ☃️
Great choice. We have a 2018 and we love it. Couple things you should change to make things better... Change bathroom faucet and get a digital thermostat... Like the easy start thermostat. The good thing is on the 2023 version the outside fridge now can stay on with solar panels. Enjoy it.
I got an f-150 with eco boost, and was thinking about towing one of these. How well did it tow?
Wow! The view of the mountains from your front yard is amazing! I'm jealous.
Just curious what drone are you using to take these videos?
Just a DJI Mavic Pro, last model
@@nevadaadventurefamily2735 I ask because I recently got into small drone flying. I picked up a DJI mini 2 so I could learn the ropes, and it being under 250g I can fly it almost anywhere as a hobbyist. My mother and I bought a 2021 Mini Lite 2509s last spring, and we love it. In the first 3 months, I did a bunch of modifications and upgrades. My mother is 77, and loves the bunk bed section. So I took out the top bunk and made a very comfy single bed with storage bins around the top. I would love to share pics with you to see what you think. Thanks again for the videos you post. BIG FAN of you, your wife and the family’s vacation videos, I learned a lot. Chris

Lipard is known for very poor quality. Their a-frame tongs are known for bending and destroying the frontend of a trailer.
that VIEW.... NICE
Silver Lake sweet spot!👌🏼
Right now isn't the right time to buy a new RV. 🙄 My brand new Grand Design has been a TOTAL Nightmare
Thats crazy for a Grand Design!
Would you recommend it or buy another one?
Yes, I would they all have little problems, so far this year no problems at all !
I have this , slightly different model, purchased in 2021. I’ve had numerous…numerous problems. Covered so far by warranty so far but holy moly it has been very frustrating and time consuming to get things fixed. Our ford f 150 works fine, we have 23’ trailer
I've been looking for awhile and have, at the moment, narrowed down my choices to the 2509s and Geo pro 20fbs. I felt like my Tacoma could haul either and I like the tandem axle on this model. But...your comment at the beginning scares me. I take it from your experience a 1/2 ton or bigger would be better for this trailer....my Tacoma can do up to 6000 I think. Any thoughts or advice? Great video - thanks.
Wait, so how do you connect the wifi? Where does it come from and how reliable is it?
Thanks for your 6 mo review. Hopefully the mfc is listening. Good job.
BTW, good vid, nice preso.
I am a year late but I have a question, looked like you have or had an F150, any problems or concerns about pulling the trailer and what engine do you have, thanks
So I’m looking at this trailer for my 2016 2.7 eco boost F150 - 6500lb tow rating. Was that what you were pulling with first? What was your experience?
Tow rating want be the limiting factor, payload will be. These mini lites when loaded all have heavy tongue weights. Most are 800 pounds or above when loaded. You’ll exceed payload long before you exceed tow capacity.
Great review! I own this trailer also. Having the stairs come out from under the trailer old school is so much better than the way this is set up. If you ever want to pull next to a curb you won't even be able to put the stairs down and close the door and they have to be readjusted practically everywhere you go so the door doesn't hit them. You have to get on your hands and knees to look at the instrument panel. I have a list of issues with it and intend to make a video about them.
liked your video - reassures me about ours. we just bought the same unit, but have had trouble running a couple of small appliances. I think we may have been using the wrong type of cord/adapter (regular 50' ext cord from the 110 outlet), Noticed that you have the 30 amp? cord with adapter, which I plan to acquire, thoughts? thanks!
