Footage shot on a hand held videocam from inside the wheelhouse of the Lerwick lifeboat. The lifeboat was called out to a vessel but then recalled. Footage shows rough seas and extreme conditions.

    I sure hope that tow line isn't nylon. Did they pump out all the water, unload everything possible to reduce wt? You gotta be careful pulling boats off rocks, it is possible to do more damage to the running gear or tear a hole in the hull. It did appear his engine was running judging by the wash by the stern.
