At this point I support that love is the way. 1 John 4:8 "for God is love".

Thank you Rev Jon Scott for the inspiring message. I didn’t know about Juneteenth until moving to Texas in 1992. We have gotten a bit better, but have a long way to go. There are still so many inequities. I encourage people to listen to this to have a better understanding of white privilege and how it is still being used. We are all human beings and deserve to be respected! The book you referenced, When God Became White, is so enlightening! I was fortunate to hear the author 7:46 , Grace Ji-sun Kim, speak at the Woodson Museum, in St Petersburg. She would be a great speaker for First Unity Spiritual Campus! Keep up the great work you are doing!

I always thought I was opened minds and accepting of all races. I made close friends with Native American family. I began to learn about my words and thoughts that were not truly accepting. I am thankful for the relationship that showed me more of how to be one with everyone 💕
