So glad I found you. I belong to a lovely choir and occasionally our conductor uses terms that are unfamiliar - like diphthong! I have a much better understanding after your explanation and demonstration. Looking forward to watching all your videos. Please keep up the good work :)
Have you encountered diphthongs in your songs? Do they need more of both vowels or less? I'm keen to know!
Thank you this helped. I was told I was sliding into a note but didn’t really know how to fix it. Grateful for your examples!
So glad it was helpful Michelle!
Fantastic exercise. Many thanks
Thanks Louise. Glad it was helpful!
My favorite music genre makes scooping it's main singing style. I think it sounds nice
It can sound great, true! But if unintended it sounds a bit sloppy and "slippery".
I sing for our duet and she said I was scooping but I didn’t know what that meant or how to fix it. You video is very helpful and with practice I feel like I can make it stop. Thanks! 😊
That's great to hear Jeanette, many thanks. All the best with "clean" singing!
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for the wonderful tips and the good explanations :)!
Thanks Ed! Glad it was helpful!
