Awesome finds digger. That spent bullet was massive. I'm curious on how you mark your path while gridding. Do you use flags, or string?
@@rayrichardson1714 I do have fold up flags in my back pack , but on days it dew in the grass I just follow my foot path through the grass . Works well until the sun evaporates the dew lol
@@souwestdigger2817 Thank you.
Nice find
😊
The field of screams! High tones, not real screams but you knew that.

New to your channel and enjoying it. That adze you found at the beginning of the video is awesome. Used on hand hewn logs . Congratulations.

My wifi dropped off two times while watching this video, you must be close to the treasure.

Great hunt I love finding old coins. We have had one of our best years ever here in NB. Starting to get cold but should be able to get out for a few more hunts. Cheers thanks for sharing.
Can you imagine the stuff people found in the early 1970's when metal detectors first came out.
@@rapiddog1491 I think about that all the time lol I know a few older gentleman that told me about the stuff they found over there time 🤯
The amount of silver was probably crazy, and same with the amount of relics, and with those detectors probably also the amount of nails 😅 Edit: I guess they would disc out the nails and go for the high tones, I guess it's unmasking those detectors would suck with
@ I’d take the nails with a hand full of silver coins any day 😂

Nice broache great save
@@brianttanner4997 thanks , it’s nice to see something like that pop out once in awhile!!
Nice score on the silver brooch digger. The last 4 letters of the other marking were BOYD - this may be the silversmith's name.
@@rayrichardson1714 thanks , it’s been fun on this permissions so far !! That was a sight for sore eyes that day .
@@souwestdigger2817 Can you get a close up picture of the marking ending in BOYD?
@ I’m sure it’s says bond Boyd, they are based out of Ontario and was established in the 40’s
Nice finds
@@pacediver2594 thanks !! This permission is doing very well , gets even better in the next few videos once I get them edited.

Hello and first time watching 👀 I'm wondering if you can tell me where to find the exceseries for metal detection. Thanks for the info ahead of time ⏲️ 👍
@@johnleahy7087 do you mean like , pin pointers , scoops , shovels? If so look up Forrest city metal detecting . They would have everything you would need to start detecting. They are in Ontario but ship Canada wide .
Interesting finds
@@pacediver2594 thanks , more to come 😊 like and share away !!
You do a great job of protecting your location.
@@rapiddog1491 I try to most of the times . I don’t want someone to recognize a place and try to sneak in at night just to destroy it or something like that and I get the blame .

That Bank Of Montreal token was awesome!
I love finding the old tokens but I just wish they would come out in better shape . Our ground is so harsh to old coins 😢
Nice finds. That silver thimble would have been a lady's thimble.
@@fishinwidow35 most definitely, I’m thinking the number 8 with the crown would have been the size.
@@souwestdigger2817 It sure is. I have the one my great-great-grandmother had. Very tiny compared to the ones I use. Your's is very ornate and pretty
@@fishinwidow35 thanks , i was so excited when i first seen it !! I am slowly trying to get it to its original shape, but I’m scared to go to far with it lol
@@souwestdigger2817 Anneal it
Digger, I love the intricate patterns on that silver thimble. Well done.
@@rayrichardson1714 it was such a cool looking thimble, that alone made my day !!
Nice finds. Only complaint is having to turn the volume up and down. Had to turn it up to hear you talking then way down when your pinpointer was beeping. If that is the Garrett pro pointer (Garrett carrot), it has a vibrate only option. I would suggest using vibrationing only in your videos. I have mine on vibrate full time. I can't stand the beeping lol.
@@1Sparrow1 thanks for your comment, I’m always trying to learn different ways to make the videos better. I will take that into consideration on my next one . I have 3 or 4 videos already to go now so be prepared for the carrot 😂
@@1Sparrow1 I have been using vibration mode the last few hunts , so once I get chance to edit them it will be a lot quieter. Thank you for your suggestion I didn’t think I would like vibration mode but is growing on me .
@souwestdigger2817 Nice. I find with the detector beeping and grunting on long hunts, it becomes a bit of auditory sensory overload. I find that taking the pinpointer out of the equation helps reduce that a bit. Everyone is different though. It's good that you're open to new ideas! Cheers
@@1Sparrow1 I think I have four or five videos before hand that has beeping , so bear with me lol they will be silent eventually.
@@souwestdigger2817 All good. If you find you prefer the beeping, stylistically, there are also ways to film and edit your videos so the pinpointing is left out. Just find what style works best for you. 👍
Sweet finds congrats on the silver
@@jimcloake thanks !! That was a beautiful sight seeing that get popped out of the ground !!
That lead piece inside shape resembles a clay pipe. Maybe a mould?
@@rapiddog1491 it looks like a mold , but it’s lead and throwing me off .
King George IV on that half penny. I thought it was some Roman leader.
Nice find on the silver dime. 👍
@@Chris153758 thanks , it was a nice surprise finding that .
Awesome hunt Digger. Glad you didn't give up on that signal for the 14K ring.
@@rayrichardson1714 lol I know !! My pin pointer sometimes gets fits or I thought it was something small . It only rang up as a 7 on the nox and that’s usually small prices of aluminum !! So glad I kept at it and found it . Now it’s back with its rightful owner .
The 14k ring , I found the owner !! It’s is getting reunited with it’s owner today 😊
Sweet finds ATB from Cape Breton
@@jimcloake thanks
The necklace matches the ring.
Nice finds. What machine are you using? You should look into multi frequency for beach hunting. They are much more stable/quiet on the beach.
@@1Sparrow1thanks 😊 I’m using the equinox 800 which is multi frequency ,and I have recently upgraded to the 15 inch coil it’s a game changer to the single frequency detectors.
@souwestdigger2817 Okay. I'm surprised you mentioned the machine was so chattery on the beach. I have the single frequency Fisher F75 SE, and it's a beast in dry conditions, but terrible on the wet salt water beach. I'm keeping an eye out for the Nokta Legend or the Deus 2 for a good price. But for now, Canadian tire had a sale on the Minelab Vanquish 440 (the nox's little brother). I'm actually very impressed with how stable it is on the beach. It has good depth as well. My only complaint is the lack of good target separation speed, but that's not a huge concern on the beach.
@@1Sparrow1 I’m pretty sure it was a little EMI , a few spots on that beach is like that and my cellphone in my pocket also.
Interesting video digger. Could your suspender clip be a garter clip?
This looks like it was in Bridgewater N.S. under the parkade by the Lahave river.
@@rapiddog1491 your right on the money lol I’m glad I decided to try under their but only detected it a few times . I only skimmed the surface, no pun intended lol I can only dream now what else I would have found if I had the time to go back a few more times.
@@souwestdigger2817 I made the comment as soon as I heard the first car on the bridge. The oyster shells were interesting also, I wonder where they came from originally. The other parkade is still there but alot harder to get under it.
@@rapiddog1491 I’m thinking they were just dumped over the bank as everyone did back in the day . As to where they came from , god knows . I did go under the other parkade but it’s very steep and I didn’t found anything . I’m still kicking myself for not going back a few more times before they took it down and turned it into the park .
I grew up near there...Rhodes Corner. I had a feeling that was one of the two parkades over the river bank. My parents live near the hospital, but I have been in Vancouver for over 30 years. Thanks for the cool videos - I feel a bit jealous!
Thank you for the Sub my friend ATB

Awesome hunt and round up Digger. You got to love those silver dimes, especially the 1913; and gold ring. That plug looks like a drain plug for an oil pan. Take care and keep warm.
