Beautifully arranged, written and performed by Ireland's very own Michael English, 'Til Then' is a moving ballad that frames a conversation between a young man and his father who has passed away. As the young man wonders what his father can see or hear since leaving this world, so too the father asks about the everyday things in the young man's life that once bound the two together.
'Til Then' is, ultimately, a song of love, hope and anticipation as we wait to rejoin our dear ones who have gone their way from this life.

Wow! I've loved this melody since hearing Liberace play it "back when"! I was in my teens when Liberace was popular with his TV programs etc. I always loved to hear the Beer Barrel Polka along with many others. I found two sheet music...one of Liberace interpretation of the 12th Street Rag and The Beer Barrel Polka. I played the 12th Street Rag in my final Recital along with Malaguena. Eventually I learned/realized that the sheet music was not Liberace's version but rather someone's (a professional) interpretation of Liberace's. Anyway, I lost(?) the sheet music to "the Rag"...however, didn't learn the Polka until we bought our Kawaii Grand Piano back about 1994. Dedicated to my beautiful. Wonderfully uncle Mick Walsh looked after 24/7. As he had no family of his own he was only 69 he went home on 1/12/2020.
