2 Doe & 4 Fawn
These 2 Doe and their Fawn spent a lot of time in front of the camera on this day. I do have another video of them from a different angle that I might share depending on how well this video does. If you would like me to upload/share that video then please let me know in the comments below.

Here's a view from a different angle of when the three fawn came through our property on their own while their mother came through 9 minutes after the fawn had left. The Mother was following the same path ass her three young ones so I know she'll catch up to them sooner or later.

The Three young Fawn came for a visit as they were passing through. Their mother didn't show up until 9 minutes after the little ones had left. It looks like their mother is giving the little ones some independence/freedom. This is footage from one of two Trail Cameras. I have footage of these same deer passing through on the other camera from a different view. I'll share that video in a few da...

I set my trail cameras to capture 2 minutes of video each time that it's triggered to record. When I was going through the videos, I noticed that the camera had turned off & then it turned right back on after a few seconds. It had done this several times. I put the videos together to make one video and this is what my Trail camera caught over a span of about 10 minutes or so. I don't know how m...

A Group of Deer Who Came To Visit Us.

This is a short video that I filmed one morning in August as I was taking pictures of our morning visitors. We never know how many Deer are going to show up. Deer are the only animals that show up on a regular daily basis year round. In the past we have had anywhere from one Deer to over 20 deer show up here at one time.

    Maybe in time they can become friends; tame greys often take up with cats, so not entirely outside the realm of possibility!

      I just think it's funny that after all the times I've seen the different fox run away from that same cat and with as easily as they're spooked by things, it's funny that this one time the fox manages to stay brave and it pays off for him/her. Who knows, this one brave moment might be the start of them becoming friends over time, like you said. I'll tell you this, when those fox decide to run, they run so fast that it's like their feet don't even touch the ground.

      @@jamesdee759 I think it's learning the cat isn't much of a danger. Some cats are territorial, and will chase away foxes, particularly reds, but he seems content to watch until the fox gets close, then runs away, which is a good sign.

    Such lovely creatures. Despite being foxes, and therefore canids, they have so many catlike qualities about them.

    • @jamesdee759
      @jamesdee759 Місяць тому

      Yea, I can see what you mean by catlike qualities. When I look at them, I think "ok, it's a type of Dog". But when I see them move, like when they jump up, push off the tree, and land on the roof of our little shed structure, that seems more like a cat type move. There's other things too, one of my other videos on here shows a Fox climb up into a small tree.

      @jamesdee759 Місяць тому

      So far I haven't had the opportunity to interact with them one on one like I have with so many other animals so I've never had the opportunity to find out how sweet they are. They do seem really skittish though. They definitely like to keep a respectful distance from other animals never letting the other animals get too close to them.

      @@jamesdee759 Wild ones are going to be very shy, but they do make make good pets if you get one young. They are a lot like a very mischievous cat, and in fact seem to love cats.

      It's funny that you say they seem to love cats. One of my neighbors has a house cat that likes to come over and spend time on the property and the house cat can be kinda intimidating at times and the fox are usually cautious around her. I have a video on here of that cat scaring off a fox. I'm also about to upload a video where the Fox wants to get past the cat to go into the shed structure and I'll let you watch it to see what happens. Don't worry, nothing bad happens. I guess if the cat wouldn't be so intimidating at times then they would probably get along.

      @@jamesdee759 It's mostly tame greys I've seen take up with cats. People do keep them as pets, as they are easy to tame, and are very affectionate. Unlike true foxes, greys don't produce the stinky musk, and are also easier to liter train. ua-cam.com/video/cm9rEfbhR80/v-deo.html

      Do you know how easy an adult grey fox would be to tame? I'm not going to try it of course. I'm just curious. I've noticed that a couple of the grey fox that come around all the time don't get as scared as they used to when they see me so I know they're getting used to me like the deer do.

      Yea, it surprised me. I've heard that sound a lot over the last year and for some reason I had never considered that it could be a fox making that sound. Then I saw this video on my trail camera and it made me look up the sounds that a grey fox makes. Then I felt kinda stupid for not looking it up sooner lol.

      There are these little green worm kind of things that hang from strands of web attached to trees. Those webs tend to break free from the trees and drift on the wind & that's what's reflecting the IR light. Those little green worms change into a type of moth.
