90 year old Philips battery operated receiver "2532" is playing polish broadcast on 1386kHz medium wave. Only one 1 uF capacitor had to be restuffed, and contacts cleaned. Power configuration was changed to use one 150V and one 4V DC from regulated sources

Torn.E.b receiver

My newly restored German Torn.E.b receiver from 1941. All paper capacitors have been restuffed, thorough cleaning and lubing of bearings and switches after much disassembly work. This TRF receiver works really well!

Very rare VEST radio made in Førde, Norway by a small factory run by entrepreneur Olaf Sande right after WWII. Very few of these sets exist today

My mighty Tandberg "Huldra 2" from 1938 on MW, SW1 and SW2 after some cleaning and recapping. Impressive radio, cost nearly a half years' wages for a typical worker when new

Norwegian Stentor BA car radio from 1950 receiving Chinese broadcast on 31m shortwave. You can hear the electro-mechanic vibrator humming which converts the 6V battery voltage to 250V for the tubes. These radios were made in Trondheim, and are quite rare today

My German Mw.E.c from 1944, not yet restored,, but worked right away after many years' "sleep"! Playing music from Deutschlandfunk1422kHz. Using a dipole for 80m band and an improvised antenna coil, ext speaker via transformer
what is that green thing next to it with the rectifier on it? I also get a torn e.b and preferably an unconverted one. so can you maybe show in a video how you do that with that power supply? thank you in advance!😄
I have some questions regarding a Huldra 2 recap project I have started - Are you located in Norway? Is it possible to comunicate through email? Rgds Rolf LA2XPA
Yes, I can get in contact with you
Hello, which antenna do you use???
Hi guys i have 1 for sale i don't no how much d pric
where can i find such a power supply for my torn eb ?
I guess you couldn't.. Mine is made from another (educational) power supply. It supplies 110V regulated DC as well as 1.4 and 1.9V filament voltage. Only transformer is from the original
A little explanation would not have been bad ! Frequency-range, power-supply etc. And manufacturer ? P = PHILIPS T = Telefunken ?
Blaupunkt made these. The "P" or "T" means tube complement, the "P" has loktal tubes Dx25 from Valvo (Philips), and "T" means Telefunken tubes in steel envelope (Dx11). Runs on 1.5V and 90V batteries or all mains voltages from 100V AC or DC up to 250V
Great piece!!!I'm still looking for one
