We (Texline) played football there in 1964. Always had to leave early for our non-district games, so we stopped in Roy at the Chevrolet dealer, and looked at the new Chevrolet Impalas! Big night, they were dedicating their new scoreboard. (New paint and numbers - just hung the numbers on a nail on the wooden board) A while back! ~~Gary (Kenneth played then too)

KNTO 103.3 FM back in 1978, those were days. 18-years-old, fresh out of Basic Training, and just assigned to the 82nd Training Wing at Sheppard Air Force base to begin my comprehensive aircraft mechanic training program. So long ago it almost doesn't seem real unless I poke through my photo album and look at my graduation certificate.

Drove through there in 2016. So sad to see.

I feel the same way about my 1974 FORD AKA" KRISTIE " she might be just a hunk of junk to some but she is my baby. When I die she is to be my last ride, even if she has to be towed on a trailer. My first Truck, my most loved truck.

Thank you Keith for sharing this it brought back a lot of good memories I'm a graduate of Rider high School I graduated in 1979 it's so sad to me that rider going to be gone but I know we have to move on I guess. Rider will remain in my heart and memories for the rest of my life both my sister and my brother graduated there too.
