This is electronic version of repeater watch. Repeater watch strike the hours on coiled wire gong and strike the minutes on two small bells one bell very small which denotes 5 minutes by one strike and 10 minutes by two strikes and another one bell which is bigger than the 5 minute bell denotes 15 minutes. If the time is 1 : 20 the watch strike 1 on thick and hard coiled wire that almost sounds like a large church bell and then strike one time on 15 minute bell and then one strike on 5 minute bell. The mechanical repeater watch chimes and electronic repeater watch tells time by word.
