Salve Marcus, I haven´t watched the whole stream, but I still have some tips for you (these might be more relevant on higher difficulties but usefull non the less): 1. One of your main steams of income is through taxes. More people under your control the more taxes. Therefore it´s beneficial in the early game to set the taxes to low, especially in small towns so that they can grow. 2. You can merge damaged units by using the "M" key. You should merge units you can´t replenish like mercenaries (if you have a general in the army and are outside of a city you can check on the lower right corner if mercenaries are available) or because you need more space in your army immediatly because au big fihgt is coming up. If a unit is damaged from former fights it will flee the fight sooner if losses are sustained. 3. Don´t build recruitement buildings in every town. That is not efficient. Have a few town which are speciallised for recruitment and have low taxes and other buildings to keep your population up. If you recruit in a town you are directly lowering the towns population. 4. Don´t use town guards in your army. As the name says they are best used to guard towns away from your frontlines to keep public order up at a minimal price. 5. You can use your dipolmat to bribe the armies of the other roman families. As you all use the same units these armies will join you if the bribe is successfull (If you bribe an army from a different culture then the units will just desperse). I basicly grew up with this game. Feel free to ask any quesiton. Roma invicta.

Hi Mark! I recommend the MineColonies mod to add the civilian NPCs in addition to your custom NPCs. The mod adds a city building element with NPCs that you can assign to gathering resources, mining, crafting, heck, even building preloaded structures and your custom structures if you feel like it. It's great fun and even multiplayer compatible. I'd really like to see how your playthrough turns out!

Honest suggestion: Imbrace the "Roman theme" more. There are tons of gaming chanels on UA-cam. There are tons of Romaboo history chanels. There aren´t a lot Romaboo Gaming Chanels. Just do little things: Don´t say "Hi everyone" say instead "Salvete spectatores!" etc. I think it could go a long way.

dont forget to continuously create villagers and army while you push - 100 vills is what i aim for every game

11:30 don't have all your villagers on one building, spread them evenly amongst the 3 foundations. Each villager after the first builder will contribute less, therefore the less builders you have working on a building the higher each builder's efficiency is.

taking that castle fight at around 3:00 was horrendous. Rams was the move. You can put your infantry in there.
