Nice, thanks b2 시 okey
The sound isn't coming through on this one. Any chance you have it with sound?
Sorry about that, this should fix it: Lead Vocals ua-cam.com/video/IYQ6puC7s4w/v-deo.html Vocals 1 ua-cam.com/video/IYQ6puC7s4w/v-deo.html Vocals 2 ua-cam.com/video/fys3ZITAzLQ/v-deo.html Vocals 3 ua-cam.com/video/6TxnMS6hdIU/v-deo.html Vocals 4 ua-cam.com/video/r_pG9SOOW3U/v-deo.html
now take the Top melody and harmonize with...bringing the 2nd two lines up an ocatave...putting them above melody where David & Graham sit for much of song
Thank You!!!! awesome animation. I finally can visually see how the code works.
I appreciate it bro, God bless, Trust in Jesus alone for your salvation.
bro I literally couldn't understand at all what a nested loop was until I saw this video thanks.

Can you make this without the voice part? I need it for the background or else I cant do the song :(((
Thank youuuuuuuu
I have watched a lot of vidoes for this topic and didin't get it .... now i get it thank u <3
thankkkkk YOUUUU
thank you sir for this great video. I have struggled with for loops 'for' a long time now. Many blessings!
This is very helpful, thank you. I'm curious, though, as to which lines are whose (Stills, Nash, Crosby), particularly in the chorus. I assume (perhaps incorrectly) the line marked Alto, is the line Stills is singing in the recording. Tin-eared am I, I'll grant you, but in this other, also-very-helpful UA-cam file [ua-cam.com/video/yxZGMZ3APIc/v-deo.html] -- which electronically breaks out the top two vocal lines from the third (bottom) vocal line using the actual recording (pretty sure that's what is being heard in this file) -- you'll notice that it's Stills's line (the bottom vocal line in your transcription, I assume), that is erased. Interestingly, in this the electronically created break out file, it is the erased line (the bottom vocal line sung by Still's), that starts the chorus. In your transcription, the top Soprano line that starts the chorus. I am confused. Sorry for all the blather. Perhaps when you have a moment, you might in reply let me know who of the three (Stills, Nash, Crosby) is singing what line in your transcription above (Soprano1, top line is __________; Soprano2, middle line is __________; Alto, bottom line is __________). I would be most grateful for this. Thanks again for all.
Thankyou, thank you soo much for this. Now i understand what nested loops do
sounds good
Straight to the point of how a nested loop works. Thank you so much the explanation and animation!
Thanks a lot!!! I really was wondering how a nested for loop works behind the scenes. With a visual explanation of it,it makes it clear.
You are a great man
used this to help jam for my solo in songorama during my gala! thanks :)
Crystal clear explanation. Verbal and visual. Thanks for the good work.
Very helpful thanks for sharing.
This is so well stitched together, really happy to sub you James, this song takes me back, great big thumbs up to you all 👏
Superb!!
Awesome explanation!
Thank you for helping me before my audition :)

She needs her mother Sebastian.. and so do I If only she were here She’d know what just to say She’s firmly and yet gently help the girl to find her way. She’d know what to forbid And what we must alllowww She’d have the strength and patience that I lack somehowww Oh what I would give to have her back right nowww
Thanks James!! 👍😘😘
Helplessly hoping i'd manage to split these 3 parts alone, hearing the song over and over, i finally found this video and your website !!!! - and mesured how much i was lost ;) Thanks a lot !!!
i have been searching UA-cam for someone to just breakdown the logic of the nested for loop step- by -step - and you did that 100%. I am so glad I found you!! #sograteful
I'm glad you found it helpful, thank you for your kind words.
I hope you live long and prosper, good sir!!! Thank you for doing this!
OMG. This shows the astonishingly effective simplicity of the song. Aside from being the first chord, the Am (a-c-e) constitutes the first notes of the three singer's voices. The lead (Stills) starts on the 3rd (e). The other two bracket his lead voice part above and below with the other two notes of Am. Then, of course the next chord is C which is played on the first syllable of harlequin; and we find the same three notes as those comprising the C chord. The flow and movement of the parts comes from the fact that the three voices switch "places" with the relevant notes. Stills started the song on the 3rd but the chord change puts his lead part on the root of the chord - C. People think Crosby was the middle voice, but this song demonstrates that he was often the low voice. You can hear this clearly on the chorus when Crosby sings "They are three together" Maybe most readers know all this, but the brilliance in composing/harmonizing didn't become obvious to me until I saw the scrolling trio of parts. Thanks to the poster for a great work of love.
At 1:16 i could bet the upper soprano voice is singing two Gs instead of the As on "e-ven". I don't have the best ears but I really tried to listen hard to the original recording. I would be interested if anyone else notices this.
That word is sung over an Am. The G you hear might be the voice that sings A-G-F#-E for e-ven. The "tension is holding the A for one part while the other does the run down passing the G.
Totally open to the possibility. Will check when time allows and make any required changes. Thanks for the head-up.
Thanks so much!
Gold!
Looks like y'all had a blast making this lol
Fantastic Man!!!! Thanks a lot!!
