For me, this song has the most epic opening! I put it on in the car, volume max, windows down, and people start laughing. Then that initial 4-beat hits with the guitar and drums and it totally short circuits the uninitiated…FATALITY; FLAWLESS VICTORY! I did have 1 guy at the university on foot, who heard it start up, and immediately started losing his shit. Pulled his hair band out, slapped his knees in perfect time, and proceeded to bang away. Everyone was staring at us and couldn’t help but smile; it was blissful 🥲

I think it’s about abortion, it’s even more controversial. It’s about an unborn child, who hypothetically can turn into a sickness for his mother who refuses life to him. That would be his only (but impossible) revenge. This is the controversial theme, that mother has life and death rights over a child, even though many don’t want to accept this. I wouldn’t expect them to sing about easy and light stuff. They say it’s inspired by their own childhood experiences but I think it’s more than that.
