Thank you i just bought a used 2010 crv and looked down and no hood release.

Yes good idea though on a 17 Camry le i dont think my metal ramps are that low to go under the car rocker panel have to see next time my daughter comes over worse case i will put some wood planks onto the ramps drive the car up forward but would have to use bolts going thru the wood planks to lock them onto to ramps to orevent from slipping while driving up the ramps.

There is another way to fill the CVT from where the CVT line goes to the radiator. Hose can be disconnected. Then used as a fill. Several UA-camrs use this method as well

I pulled the 22 and 23 to check them but forgot the configuration. thanks for posting this. I wonder why there is a space next to the space, three spaces is you will, it confuse me. the two yellow ones at the top are 22 and 23.

I dunno. If the mfr didnt say to do this, I wouldn't. I can't remember my physics equations, but the weight(force?) Distribution onto the ramp is not exactly the same right? Iow I'm pretty sure more weight/force is being put on the lip/-'front' edge.. Whereas when used properly the center of mass of the car is over the incline..

This is the most well hidden hood popper I’ve ever seen. In the video it looks like you should clearly be able to see it once the camera is in position, but it’s not true. You can have your head completely in the car down there and still not see this dead gum thing. My father and I looked for probably 30 minutes getting so frustrated and then a year or two later, it happened again and I still couldn’t remember where the dang thing was and new vaguely where to look. This time I just went straight to your video because I never can remember where to find this thing after not needing to use it for so many years

I change my sparks plugs and they had oil. So i change my Valve cover gasket and still oil.? What do you think is wrong with it?

if the 5 volts is low ,, unhook the cam sensor an see if it goes up to 5 volts

Torque specs are very important. I suspect that those LugNuts were over torqued too many times, expanded the treads and caused them to snap. Very unfortunate situation man

Always good to carry a magnet pen with you for those occasions works for me everytime I drop the plug inside

How you bleed it per the service manual is to open up the bleeder screw, attach a clear hose to it going to a bucket, pinch off the reservoir overflow hose coming out the neck of the reservoir, attach a spill free funnel to the reservoir and fill it up until a clear stream of coolant is going into the bucket below. Once it is, close the bleeder screw, remove the clamp from the overflow hose and let the rest of the coolant fill the reservoir. If coolant is higher than max cold line, remove the excess and put reservoir cap on. Done.

Your problem was most like the coolant bypass channel inside the engine. Its gets block and then only cold fluid hits the thermostat causing it to not open even though the engine is overheating. A work around is to install an inline thermostat on the top radiator hose and remove the one below.

Them 3800 motors were the best. As a matter of fact I remember many of them GM cars from the late 80s 90s and 2000s had that motor and were the best cars ever. That's why I would rather have an older car like that for a grocery getter and traveling over a new car. They're more comfortable more reliable less complicated and less expensive to work on than a newer car. I have a 2019 chevy cruise right now and it's been a good decent reliable car that gets me from a to b but I never really liked it at all. It aint like your cars from the 90s and 2000s with that 3800 motor. I think I'm gonna get rid of it and buy like a buick lesabre or a pontiac bonneville that's in decent cosmetic shape and almost free of rust I know I will be happier with and will last me.

These old cars with that 3800 motor and the comfortability and reliability of that car couldn't come close as good to any new/newer car today. Most new cars you're lucky to get 200-250k miles out of it and usually they're junk especially when it comes to the motor because they were built like crap to begin with . Them 3800s were indestructible and just went forever

Thank god I only have one actuator I believe, I have the custom/ base model i think the limited has the dual control along with those nice leather seats I have cloth seats but they are still crazy comfy

NEVER MIND, DUH IT'S THE CLEAR WIRE AND THAT IS THE KNOCK SENSOR THAT WAS BAD NOT THE BLACK WIRE, SO I DID IT THE SAME WAY JUST REVERSE AND NO MORE ISSUES!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE VID AND HOPEFULLY THE OTHER GOOD SENSOR DOES NOT GO BAD OR I'M GUESSING YOUR SCREWED THEN AND HAVE TO CHANGE BOTH SENSORS UNLESS THERE IS SOME WAY TO BYPASS THEM ALTOGETHER?
