Fanbase still stuck in 2002. Same bland characters get upvoted. Byakuren in the 50s for some reason. Eirin also down low, just like Megumu , Junko and Hecatia. Are most Touhou "fans" just lolicons in denial or what? Atleast looking at Shiki Eiki's rank is some relief.

@@ShoutokuLegend I do know which one but forgot the name of it. I would expect, she first appeared in 2007(atleast to my knowledge) and so far in 2023. Nothing much is still really known about her. I find that really werid since she has a big fanbase.

Why in the world Kokoro is twice as spoular as Kasen? Also why bootleg Reisen is more popular than original Ringo?
Ringo's barely done anything since LoLK besides open a dango stand, so people don't exactly remember her. At least Seiran gained a playable appearance, but how long will it be before Ringo gets her time? Maybe in a Mystia's Izakaya-like game? As for why people like Rei'sen over her? It has to be bias towards older characters, as otherwise she has basically nothing going for her besides what the fans give her. As for Kokoro? I can't speak for everyone, but I like expressionless girls and Kokoro certainly is one (even if she is trying to learn how to do exactly that).
The only thing I can think of Kokoro being more popular than Kasen is neither her design or her lore.
I kind of feel bad for Mizuchi. She was introduced like 2 years ago and she's about as popular as Genji.
You can blame ZUN for that with the vagueness of FDS's plot
The only other (named) printwork character that's below the top 100 is Toyohime, a character who's notorious for being hated by the fandom. Even Tokiko is higher up than Mizuchi, despite barely having anything at all to go on. Yikes.
My guess is that FDS is too unpopular, even for print work standards or that Mima fans hate her for obvious reasons, probably both.
