    I came here specifically for the terms, “ throw “ as in “to throw clay “ and you literally used the word without defining it 😂, also for “ bat pins”. 😊

    • @penningtondesignpottery
      @penningtondesignpottery 2 місяці тому

      I didn't define throwing because that is a term that generally doesn't need explaining. But I'm happy if you need something defined! As far as bat pins, they are the small bolts on the wheel head of the pottery wheel that allows you to attach a "bat" which is a disk that allows you to throw on and remove the piece without messing up the item.

      @ yes I’m completely new to this. Please define “ throwing clay “ for me. Thanks for bat pins.

    Have you thought about creating silicone press molds for Sherry the sheep? It would lack the personality you give each Sheep, but it would make up for it in time spent modeling

    Sip and glaze!! What an awesome idea! I’m sure it’s been around a while, I just always seem late to things. Lol! The charms are such a cool idea. LOVE THE FLOCK MUG!!! I love the little shot glasses with the crystals. I have cookies made up with kiln wash on them especially for putting test pieces on. That might help. Just roll really thin slab and use a cookie cutter to cut them out and dry between boards with weights. The sip and glaze vases are awesome!!! Your belly looks awesome by the way!! Just fyi you called the desert dusk desert rose. Just Incase people ask what glaze that is. Lol OMG GIRRRRL!!! The sheep mugs are STUNNING!!!!❤ What a great kiln opening!! Best of luck at the market!

    I like the cup with the pale orange inside and the sheep outside. Looks great. I love finely speckled clay too. I love the glaze on the shot glasses and footage 13:24. I wondered if you hollowed out the sheep nose? Since it’s a thicker body of clay.
