Yes, you can connect either wire to positive and another wire to negative.
Open and closed. No in between?
It can open partially but you need to inspect carefully. The valve will remain the current position when power fails. So you may cut off the power when it is half open.

Is its opening or closing directly related with water pressure which comes from water tank?
No, it will open when connected to the power supply. And it will return to close when power fails. For this valve, the max pressure is 145PSI.
There is another demo video for 3 wire valve. This works with a 2 pole switch (L1 and L2 only) it shows the yellow wire being connected and disconnected to the red wire to open and close the valve. Blue is just connect to negative. My valve does not work in this config. Has your spec changed?

Please press the lid tight next time when using. It will not leak and the air tightness is very good.

The instructions were great. I tried all morning to put it on my wife. The QR code with the packaging didn't give a large enough video, so I went to UA-cam. Same video but much larger for my 83 year old eyes. Great job!

Well, I got the YOLINK, and it looks just like this. I like this one!!! What position does the motorized valve need to be in when installing on your network for the first time? Should it be in the completely OPEN position so that when you prompt clos, it will close instead of open and flood everything? I like that app view. I liked Yolink because they talk about this new LoRa feature that works outside of wifi. It will even work without power!!!!!

Why would you need this motorized shutoff valve in addition to a hose bib that has a manual shutoff valve already? The purpose of this is to replace a shutoff valve. This device is for indoor installation. You mentioned a garden hose that is outside. What are your usage plans? What are you trying to do?
