@@pisceandee Friday 7th October nhunt season starts, I've been into horseracing since aged 16, this meeting at chepstow nicholls horses must be followed cos they are laid out for early autumn, December into late January/early Feb don't bother with his horses,the get jabbed in January, this period last season he had 1winner( odds on) from 57 runners,. He finished well at aintree and sandown,. Hacker Des places I backed it in April it won at aintree

That's really interesting and thank you for the information. I had Beef Stamna twice at two different restaurants in the village of San Stefanos, Corfu. They were both very different, but tasted similar and were equally delicious. One was made with mash and one with chunks of potato. Perhaps the norm is to have slices/chunks of potato. I personally preferred the dish made with mash potato, which is why I tried to replicate it that way. Although I would be happy to eat either!!

You're welcome.....Handy to see the location of the apartments before you travel. I was extremely impressed with the Greek government and how they were handling the pandemic. The local businesses were fantastic in adapting to the many changes being brought in and ensured everyone had a wonderful holiday. Looking to get there myself again next May/June for 3 weeks. Something to look forward to!!

Vicky's Apartments was full, although this recording was done around 7.30am in the morning. Are you staying at Vicky's? The resort of San Stef was a little quieter than usual at the time of our visit end of July which was only 12 days after Greece had lifted restrictions for UK travellers. Enjoy your holiday.

@@dwburns7709 San Stef has plenty of returning visitors which is testament to how many of us call this place our 2nd home. The locals are incredibly welcoming and friendly with great restaurants throughout the resort. There are plenty of social media forums you can join which might help before you travel. Any questions whilst you are there see Lesley on reception...she has a wealth of knowledge too. Safe journey over to Corfu and am sure you will love it as much as we all do.

Only 6 months to go before the tourist season opens up again for Corfu Nessie. Like you I cannot wait until I get back to my happy place!! One thing for sure is that everyone in Agios Stefanos will welcome and look after you.
