Wonderful to hear these old but relevant for today songs. Having missed my own meeting in mid Cheshire due to family get together. I turned to Hendon on line. Well im 73 been singing im in his hand aged 8 ch ch city still singing the chorus and praying every morning each to there own but the meaning ful true spoken words is one or the old songs still being sung to this day not as often the younger officers seem to want change give me a good old army service with the talented band songesters etc lyndsey from ch ch nz

As The Deer used to be one of my mum's favourite hymns (she still loves it now). It's so good that 2 choirs won the SOP school competition with this song. Strade would have won in 2012 but they were unlucky in the finals 😍😊☺️😁😀
