Some friends and I got together and threw a mini Thanksgiving a few days before the actual holiday. Needless to say, some of us tired of Cards Against Humanity, and therefore a little creative
Hamlet: A Love (?) Story (Parody of "Love Story" by Taylor Swift)
Переглядів 3749 років тому
Colleen and I were assigned a project in AP Lit to make a parody of Hamlet. Having free rein in terms of the nature of the project, we chose to re-write a popular Taylor Swift song from the perspective of Ophelia, record it, and play the video in class. Enjoy! Oh, and I apologize for my intense "guitar-face" (I was reading the chords from my phone under the table sshhhh...)

Feel free to skip the warmup in the beginning; it's kind of long. This is my chest cam from our last run through before Group IV Open Atlantic Coast Championships. We placed 1st with a score of 97.25, with a near 4-point lead over second place

Here's my attempt at making an acoustic guitar cover of the song. I know it's not 100% accurate and I messed up a bit but oh well

Final product of our Great Gatsby product. Everything but the end bit was pre-recorded so the solos are out of sync. Deal with it. (Re-Upload)
Well if anyone sees this, I'm currently a junior in the spring Ford marching band and also play trombone so I appreciate this video!

sousaphone ... father of all brass pipe instruments
I play all of these.
Don't baritones face straight up? That looks like a french horn/sousaphone
It's called a marching baritone. The Sousa is on the far right. And a French horn looks like a snail
I'm an idiot, sorry. I thought you had labeled it trumpet, trumbone, baritone. I was going to say that i've only ever seen the marching one, both Eflat Tenor and Bflat Alto as forward facing. I should have read what was written, sorry. But good job =)
props to the sousaphone getting up to play from behind the couch!
