Super cute mover though. Once they find their groove, it’s going to be nice!
Absolutely we all had to start somewhere. Thank you for the nice comment.
He’s intelligent, and making sure all is secure. Good horse! ❤️
He is a fantastic horse has shown us that over the last 12 years.
Guard horse
He has taken on that role
I really love how you connected all the different videos just buy one click
Thank you we are trying to help our supports find what they would like to see more of. By no means do I have this all figured out yet but we are trying to share our mission for our amazing riders and show respect to our amazing horses. Thank you for your support.
He is your new security guard😂
He will make a good security guard.
He making sure everything is secure, a protector!❤🐎🙏🙏🙏
He has taken on that role. He never ceases to amaze.
If it's a nightly thing then I have to believe that he is indeed checking things out! Too cute!😂❤
I guess he just wants to make sure all of the girls are in first before he gets dinner. He’s a trip.
@GracefulAcresHorsemanship thank you for sharing him with us!!
@@AngelaSadler-c2babsolutely. Is there anything in particular you would like to see more of from us?
@GracefulAcresHorsemanship anything & everything will be great!!
Horses flirting through the fence lol
Leave it to Rig’s
😂❤😊
We are not looking forward to next weeks temperatures
@ yes I can’t wait for the warmer weather. I was not expecting the snow today
@@The_crazyBananayea I wasn’t either.
My sister had a Tennessee Walker stallion (best horse ever). In the winter he would break ice in the pond so he could get a drink. So funny, he would break the ice and all the other horses and cows would queue up to get a drink after him.
Now I have to try to teach one of our guys or gals to do that. We had mustangs growing up and they always seemed to figure out how to keep their water opened. Thank you for sharing. Hope you and your sister are still enjoying horses.
Keep the water moving
I will look into something to help with that. Thank you.
@GracefulAcresHorsemanship I was trying to remember how my dad did it but it was 30 years ago and I for the life of me can't remember how he did it. Lol I just remembered keep it moving 😁
@@Kaish0901either way we appreciate the suggestion.
Once again, little girl being a star ⭐️
See is a true diva lol
Wow nice job she is a whole new horse
They are working really well together
Do you sell horse milk?
We do not and I honestly have never heard of drinking horse milk. That is just me.
She looks a little bewildered but she did great!
lol yea kitty would prefer not to work that hard. She is coming along nicely.
Rest in Peace beautiful girl.. 😔 ❤
Thank you I’m sure she is. She will be missed
Did she pass away ?😢
She did last evening. She went naturally.
Omg will miss you so much
@AddisonDaugherty-rd1nm She definitely will
@ that’s so sad 😭
That’s the worst posible thing to wake up to ❤😢
❤please a little y
He was definitely enjoying every second of his grooming
aww they seem very sweet!
They usually are 92% of the time lol
What about snow is pretty
I guess some think it’s pretty. I was being sarcastic I could do without the snow. Lol
you make it look so easy! what if you do have a horse who wants to kick when you do their back feet? or bite when your bent over trying to get them to lift their front? i think im gonna try the flag method everyday for a week and keep watching your video and see if i can pick up anything.
Great question I will try to do a video on what to do if they are kickers. Again, the ones that I have here are not so it’s not gonna be the real deal if that makes sense but I will continue to do videos to help you out.
ua-cam.com/video/fc_at1XlMK8/v-deo.htmlsi=uuRFdnPsQZD0MjVs He is another video that may help. And one of my students who comes today is a farrier I will ask him to do a video as well. Remember be safe and never stop learning.
do you do that if you have a horse who doesn’t want to lift it’s feet for you? have them back up and move their feet for you so they get the message? i have never been able to work on my horse’s feet. i’ve had her 5 or 6 years now. she won’t even budge for me. tries to nip at me if i’m bent over and asking for them. she will stand for the farrier, but will sometimes act out or try to bite me or him. we just had her put on medication for Kushings disease last fall. i’m sure it’s mostly just me who is afraid of being kicked or bitten. just wondering what i’m doing wrong.
You are on the right track with making her move her feet. You want her to realize it is easier to lift up her feet. I would work with the flag and move your hand down the shoulder and even rump to get her acclimated to you. You don’t have to do everything all at once. If she bites at you just use correct her appropriately.
@ what’s the best and quickest way to correct a biting or nipping horse? i’ve read some conflicting things about it.
@wearyandheavyladen23 you should do some groundwork and get the horse to respect your space and ultimately you. Horses are naturally testing you to see if you are a fit leader that can protect them from harm before they trust you. If they are biting it could be from fear, aggression, defense, etc. I recommend you watch Steve Young Horsemanship as he deals with a lot of people problems that show up in a horse and how he corrects it. With a little groundwork and clear communication the horse understands that biting is harder than not biting. You want to make the right thing easy and the wrong thing hard.
@@wearyandheavyladen23is it only when you are working with the hooves?
I remember the first horse I rode there before Covid was Bailey then I rode bullseye and he was my fav he was there perfect mix of perky and stubborn. Nice job Ava and Misty has come so far ❤😊
Haha yes good ol bullseye was definitely stubborn but a good one for learning.
They’re all so pretty! I miss Bailey though.
We all miss Bailey she was amazing. I was just talking with one of the riders about her and she said we need to find another one like her.
Tractors get really mad when you don't grease em
Funny it had nothing to do with grease. The pin came out
@GracefulAcresHorsemanship Just a joke hoss
@@PAYNEKILLER..my apologies
Good tips, it sounds dumb but I never realized how much goes into inspecting a horse to buy
Not dumb, this is why I am doing a series on this. Check out the playlist if you have horse buying 101. We sometimes don’t have the luxury to do this when we are looking to buy. Honestly sometimes our horses work for a few months and then get frustrated with lessons. We always want to do what’s best for the horse to insure the safety of our riders.
Teaching a horse road rules is important
lol absolutely. She did amazing, even when the one lid fell off that wasn’t caught on film
I saw something about horses not drinking water, it said that if you put salt into their food they will drink more, should that really be done?
Yes you can add a little bit of salt to the food to encourage them to drink. We also have a mineral block out for them to lick as well. When we put hay away in the summer I always add salt to help it dry but also so when they eat it this time of year they will drink.
How long have you had kitty?
Alison started training her the week of thanksgiving
Jon the scratching post lol
I’m good for that at least
The snow is beatiful ❤😊
Too bad the wind blew it all away.
Awww ❤❤
They were plotting to do something I’m sure of it.
My little ponyyy
I can say that with Misty but honestly I don’t have much time in with Lucky so this connection was very out of the blue for me honestly.
The snow is beatiful ❤
It would be great without the wind.
She is like “ hey what’s up can I just like use ur arm for a min …. Oh thanks “ ❤😂
Misty! Why would you go back into the snow!
She realized she had to share with Lucky lol
I don’t know, i might have stayed. It was so cold!🥶
@CRAZYuniverse135 Agreed
This is so pretty!
Thank you, the snow does that and of course our horses spice it up.
He wants to go back down to Florida. Haha❤. Beautiful horses.
We will gladly make the trip down with him to visit. This cold weather is for the birds. Lol
@ lol.
nice but looks cold! Love the app!
All I know is the temp in the barn was 32 while teaching. I’m sure with the wind the real feel was probably around 20. Appie’s make me happy lol.
Rigs is such a good model ❤😂😊
He excels at that lol. He is a really good horse for us.
The mini cows are adorable who wnated them u or Alison ?❤😊😂
Alison but I would definitely take them over horses. They are so much easier to take care of
@ 😂
This is so smart ❤😊
I only did it because I thought I drained it well enough but I did not. So this was the next best option besides making a mess in the observation room.
Finally! Someone with my work ethic! lol
Haha ooo he is the poster child for work ethic.
Is she slow or something? Lol
This young man is living life with autism. He is not slow he is learning at a different speed.
Wow kitty has come so far so fast ❤😊
She really has considering she was never handled.
Bugsy is beatiful, they shouldn’t have done that to u guys though I would have been annoyed❤
We were but at that time we just wanted to get him home and help him. We definitely learned our lesson. We did have a good time on the trip though.
Sarah is probaly like u have other horses right lol😂❤😊
Sarah volunteered Little Girl. Lol
Tsk, scummy people. I’m sorry you had to go through that. Give him some extra love for me 😊
Yea some people really don’t have morals. I’ll give him some extra breakfast this morning.
God bless you 💓
Thank you it wasn’t just myself it was everyone who believed in us over the years. We started from the bottom up and ran with a dream and a vision.
