Cape Town Travel Guide: Bo-Kaap Tour
Join me as I take you on a tour of the Bo-Kaap, Cape Town, South Africa. Take a stroll through the multi-coloured rows of houses of mixed Cape Dutch and Georgian architecture. Previously all the houses had to be white, while on lease to the slaves but eventually this rule was lifted. The slaves were then allowed to buy the properties and all the houses were painted bright colours by their owners as an expression of their freedom.
Today the Bo-Kaap community is a significant part of our cultural heritage and has officially been preserved as a heritage site.

      Hey Poorvi Laxman - If you enjoy wine and adventure, you could visit Altydegedacht wine farm where you can do a zipline course. ua-cam.com/video/XpRjHbcbpok/v-deo.html. You can also do an olive and wine tasting at Hill crest estate or do a wine and beer tasting at Signal gun estate. Another one of my favorites is Klein roosboom (check out my video on UA-cam) they have private caves, which use to be there wine cellar, that you can book to do a wine tasting in 👌 Enjoy!

      Hi Try Sea Point my home area when im not here in Scotland there is plenty to do and get a Bus pass My Citi which is still reasonably cheap will allow you to explore a lot more around Cape town pity that you are not going at the end of September which is still hot but enjoy your trip and you will not regret it! 😎
