Oh, I wasn't expecting this, but I'm not disappointed. Both the cover and the "horror" sound feel so to speak remind me a lot of Gygas from Earthbound. (I'm not saying they're very similar, it just brings me vibes). I like it.

I have mixed opinions on this. I like the musical structure better, unlike the OG version, it sounds more sophisticated. But the "synthetic female background voice" so to speak, being cleaner, takes away that "bleak atmosphere", I prefer the one that sounds in the OG version. Anyway, you should keep both versions, both are enjoyable to the ear. PS: This track should be included in the new album, in my opinion.

As another user said in this track, it sounds like it's part of the ost of some Tekken or other fighting game. Excellent, it seems strange to me not to see an anime-style character on the cover but it doesn't matter. Nice composition.
