Finally back from my little holiday in California. Spent all my time at the 30 meter target today, and didn't lose any arrows! I'll call that a success 😎

Haven't been out shooting a lot recently, much to my dismay. Decided I'd paint some little designs on my bow after realizing that the bare bamboo laminate would make an excellent canvas. Wrist is no longer perfectly aligned with my forearm, so I will need to continue working on that.

Finally got a new bow! Got myself an AF SiCai, 45# 28 in. Magically after using this bow I've noticed that my groupings have become significantly more consistent. I confirmed with Ben that I'm not going crazy, but instead that laminate is significantly superior to fiberglass.

Ben continues to give me great advice - I tend to pull left with my arrows, which Ben pointed out that my release doesn't follow a straight line. I'm continuing to work on a slow draw to keep my wrist and forearm straight, while thinking about the line they travel on. I've seen some improvements immediately, and now it's just a matter of consistency. Fingers crossed I can keep a relatively cons...

About a week since I was at the range. After doing more gaozhen practice, and with tips from the awesome Ben Roth, I started working on improving my draw arm's form. Last week my wrist tended to bend slightly as I drew the bow, when it should remain in line with my forearm. Huge thanks to Ben for the advice!

Almost! The draw hand and bow hand must act in unison when you raise up to the target. Move your bow hand up with the draw hand as you draw, that's all. :D Nice and steady, good release too

He couldn't handle the power of the inch worm technique 😅 He actually just put an arrow down range, but missed his target. He's laughing at himself. I had a chat with him afterwards, really nice gentleman!

@@Theodoesit I'm not sure when I'll make another video like the vlog again. I mostly made it as a sort of memorabilia for myself and my team, but I'm glad you enjoyed it! Not sure how I can make more content, but I'll get around to it eventually
