Sitting here trying to find a boat Launch big enough to launch a wharram in the U.P. I can build it on my property but launching it could be a problem. After see you ship your boat. I just need to fins some one willing to remove dock in the launch for a wide boat.

Thinking I want the four double cabins in my boat. Galley up. But pods have to be panelized. Gonna build test fit disassemble and move to launch.

What would of you did differently if you planned on beaching her at different points? Still not sure if I am go west around the world or east after I build the boat. Can always handle lines in Panama to get funds to go through. Suez and pirates don't sound like fun.

Looking at the Schooner Bowdoin and will add some extra bracing to stern and bow. Never liked the looks of the Pahi and like the tiki style rudders better. Figure extra likes and comments might help keep you in smoke and coffee.

So can sell house and move into cottage. Where I have proper forest to get the wood needed and space. The hardest part is finding a boat launch for such a large vessel in U.P. of MI. Plus it has to be under 24' beam and less than 4' draft for Erie canal. In 7 years I hope to have sailed around the world or in the middle of trying to. 900,991 things to do before I can go sailing. Building the boat is a half million of them.

I spent about a year in Ft Myers, living aboard my Pastor's cat in a boat yard, as I rebuilt a good part of the boat. I understand having the only person to talk to is yourself. Maybe, occasionally a boat bum or two. By the time that boat launched, I cussed, well, " like a sailor".
