@@tajrad-963 I'm not sure what the rights are now and what Terence has patented. Peter Hall was the first to present a working concept 2 years ago, when the contest for the lynchpin drone was still running. That was also the time when I built mine

unfortunately, there is no propel falcon ready to fly, and would I build it again or sell it as ready to fly, then would come to the material / electronics costs of 300 € another 300 € for my construction or working time on it :-)

@@vonOben_tv true, it's very expensive and hard to make haha which is why i could never make one. I don't have a printer, i don't know anything about electronics and whic drone pieces to buy so the instructions would be basically useless to me😂 but you did an amazing job and i'm sure it's 10 times cooler than the foam quad copter air hogs one with 4 big ass holes in it

Thanks a lot! never say never ;-) btw -i listed all the pieces in the build plan, with direct links to the shops and also alternative pieces. The instruction is also step by step, from the beginnig, also for someone who never built a drone before.

i think the drive was the problem here - i was originally planning to use a propel tie figther including electronics for my falcon, which didn't work. The power of the brushed motors was simply not enough to fly with, which is certainly also due to the shape of the Falcon. Propel would have had to go brushless here, as I did. In early prototypes of the Propel Falcon/marketing videos you can also see brushless motors. So for the Falcon, completely different electronics would have had to be developed, different escs and a brushless drive. I assume that this was simply too cost-intesive or would have made the Falcon twice as expensive to sell as the Propel speederbike, xwing or tie.

Danke! Haben ist immer besser als brauchen ;-) Die Trails abwärts, grad die um die Sella Gruppe haben aber mit nem Hardtail keinen Spaß gemacht, waren ja mit zwei fullys und zwei hardtails unterwegs. Und zum Trekkingbike: Adolf-Munkel-Weg und Bindelweg, Infinitytrail.... nee :-)

@@fb_777 deswegen: nächstes mal ist wieder die bewährte gopro am start, ich hatte es hier schonmal in den Kommentaren geschrieben. Es machte auch keinen Spaß, nach Fotogeschäften zu suchen, um dann überteuerte 32GB MicroSD Karten zu kaufen (die auch nicht funktionierten) weil die Insta360 mal wieder meinte, bei 40GB von verfügbaren 256GB ists genug und zu langsam ist mir die nagelneue Sandisk Extreme Pro auch. :-) Aber wir haben dafür doch einiges hinbekommen.

Vielen Dank für dein Feedback, Roland. :-) bei meine letzten Videos zu unseren Touren kam immer..."viel zu kurz" und "mach doch bitte ne Ortsangabe mit rein", oder "wo seid ihr denn da überall" ..und ehe man sich versieht ist man dann schnell bei über 15 minuten :-) Die Zeitrafferfunktion der cam hab ich hier mal ausprobiert und fands dann ganz cool, wie alles klar Geschmackssache.

@@frami7857 nein, das war diesmal die insta360r. die Funktion sieht schon cool aus, werde aber zukünftig wieder auf gopro setzen. der ton der insta ist einfach nicht zu gebrauchen :-( und die 360grad funktion ist nice to have, aber erfordert auch viel nacharbeit.

I have no idea what Mr. Howard is planning exactly, but a fleet of multiple lynchpins linked together dont work. the thing alone is technically very cool and interesting, but - purely in terms of propulsion/flight behavior - very inefficient. you can hear it in the sound, it needs power to fly the way it flies. Perhaps Terenece will surprise me and has further developed the technology and efficiency accordingly. ..not him, his employees :-)

No problem, same esc spec - ok. Only the servo must be exactly this, expensive i know, but best choice. I tried a lot. Happy building!

@@vonOben_tv the servo is the same 😉 I try with other FC and ESC only becouse I already have 😆 have you never try INAV?

@@albertosquillari6622 perfect;) for sure, but betaflight with the led control and easy filtering is really good for this, also no navigation needed. I come from the beginnings ;) multiwii, baseflight, cleanflight…. Tried not every, but the most over the years. Had two fpv wings on inav, perfect for this.

After build, flight, test, repeat..the bigger v2 black version - i crashed it :) to many flips, rolls…print a new one and test flight was yesterday, all fine - the new one is also painted in silver, like the first version in this ^ vid. @@vonOben_tv Thanks for the link. It looks like it flies well. sounds just like an EDF too. interesting choice with the 3.5" octablade props. Was thinking on using a li-ion to get longer flight times. How does it FPV?

Hi! ..was there a problem? BF 4.2, pid tuning and lowpass on the servo, everything else is stock.

@@vonOben_tv I dunno if there is or not- I haven't tried to build a tricopter since there was an issue with getting the tail servo working properly with F7 boards- last time I looked it was next to impossible but that was years ago on RCG.

@@henryknox4511 ahh ok. this is my first tricopter built since... baseflight, 10 years ago. :-) you can see it in the video, flies absolutely stable, no problems with the f7

ich bin dran, das hier ist die 3" /2" version und eher ein Kompromiss auf Grund der Größe meines Druckers- der fliegt gut, aber in 5"/3" würde er noch besser gehn, bei minimal mehr Gewicht. Ich überarbeite die stls dementsprechend nochmal.
