FINALLY they reveal the console. Nintendo has been very secretive lately and I feel we are in for a MAJOR Content/upcoming game announcement flood soon for the console since it was leaked like mid to late 2024 that developers developing games for the console already aquired the Dev Kit. But I hope this console has MORE in terms of customization (An example being how the 3DS has HOME menu backgrounds for your switch). And i'm still wondering when this console will release too along with later on down the line, will they make a Switch 2 OLED counterpart like the Nintendo Switch. 🤔

I'm very much look forward to what the Switch 2 has to offer.

I'm just playing Heartgold for the first time right now after Pokemon Crystal being my fav game as a kid. It's so nostalgic. Very much appreciate videos like this because as a grown man i'm taking my time with the in game world and the lore is definitely more interesting than just soloing the Elite 4 with my starter. And no offence to a lot of Pokemon content out there but it's usually some overhyped kid cracking lame jokes. So i appreciate how you've presented this info in like a mature and lore-building way lol. As mature as grown men playing Pokemon can be anyways.

Usually people don't care as much about the whole bipedal aspect so much but just like you also agreed, the Fennekin evo line wasn't great for a lot of people, but where you just dropped it at "you ugly", people went into detail as to why older Pokémon feel like wild monsters, bipedal or not,since they feel like JRPG roles and not Pokémon. Also bipedal and standing on two legs are two different things entirely, as you can see in Marshtomp and Typhlosion etc, as they have 4 limbs to stand on but can also stand upright using both limbs, bipedals use EXCLUSIVELY two limbs as a means of motion aka walking

Nintendo lost their spark after the GameCube. THAT'S the era I miss(minus their stubbornness to get with the times). After that, the Wii happened, they tried to replicate its success with the WiiU but it flopped(showing that the Wii's sales were a fluke), and before they finally stuck with Handhelds, they marketed the Switch as another damn Wii at first. Also, the WiiU days were where Nintendo's AAA bs started. We just didnt notice at first. We thought they'd never use DLC or Season Passes, but Smash Brawl paywalled past Smash characters. We thought Nintendo would never rush out games, but Splatoon & Mario Maker were rushed out & missing stuff were patched in later. For f sake, the bs led to them joining the $70 bandwagon. Pricing Zelda ToTK at $70 when it damn well doesn't look 9th Gen.

I really enjoyed the Wii Shop Channel music as a kid! I had just discovered that the Wii could connect to WiFi and when I finally did if (with the help of one of my younger aunts) I fell more in love with my wii system!

I think there is nothing wrong with this current Nintendo, but I still miss the older Iwata-era Nintendo. Presentations were better and I liked that the consoles not only tried to make you try new things, but tried to improve your life vs. just play games. (Although, you can argue the Switch saves people money by not having them buy console and portable games, but it feels like the goal was more about consolidation to me than that... especially how it doesn't feel like we are saving money on these games, lol)

I miss the creative and werid side of Nintendo like in the Wii,Wii U,DS, and 3DS days.

i have watched appmon as it released (i used a website that streamed a lot of anime and i believe around the release of the first episode i coincidentally found it in the anime list while looking for a different digimon season with no idea it existed) and it was genuinely one of my favorite seasons of digimon (and generally my favorite anime ever), i remember that every time i got grounded and a new episode came out id search for where my phone was hidden, literally cried over the ending of the anime and it really impacted me as a kid. this season is so underrated and it makes me feel sad because it's genuinely amazing and i love all of the characters also, had a massive crush on yujin when i was 10-11 lol

Honestly, playing Palworld made me realize how bad Pokémon refuses to evolve it's core gameplay. Every time they add something cool, be it custom bases or the underground system, they take it away in the next game instead of expanding upon it. And Palworld has a sense of wonder and adventure that Pokémon doesn't commit to achieving anymore

100% I totally agree with you. Pokemon is completely established. Its going no where and certainly not because of a random game from a b tier studio. Palworld is amazing and I hope they continue to add and improve the game. I could play forever at this point. But I also LOVE pokemon and will play the next gen when it comes. You are totally right, sir!

Pal world is good, but it’s no Pokémon killer. It’s just an example of what somone can do if they aren’t money greedy and looking for the yearly paycheck, unlike Pokémon
