I noticed one thing - see how everytime they hug, there is a view on Doctor's face? To show how much he's shining when he's with her? I've always loved them back when there episodes were just airing, but coming back to this years later, you see so many more details. Rose was his saving grace after losing his own world, and without even realizing it he gave himself to her, while she gave him back a will to live and in many ways saved him from going mad. From all the companions, she will always have a special place in his hearts and I cannot even imagine how hard it must have been for him to switch from the utter happiness of her being back to realizing he has to drop her off again with another version of him to keep the universe safe. No hand of fate, this time it will be his own doing. Oh, yes, and let's not forget it's just a TV show before you get emotionally invested, right? :D

Even though I’m not a huge fan of the song, it really works with this

He changed her in S1 which was great but he changed her even more in S2, and not in a good way. They both became reckless, arrogant and uncaring in the face of danger and others losing their lives. She willingly dropped her family to stay with him (or would have), grew extremely jealous of others and was bitchy about it. Her personality in S2 wasn't always good and neither was the way she acted. She became too dependant on him. She needed him in her life just to survive because she just couldn't live without him at that point. Not good. I like her but so many things wrong with these two and their relationship. They're too dependant on each other and make jokes when they shouldn't.
