Rarer Film Gathering
United States
Приєднався 12 гру 2022
This is a test site for dangerous, explosive new content that is actually, in most cases, old and largely forgotten. Much of it is from my collection of 16mm films. I suggest using the provided playlists, as my uploads are wildly inconsistent.
The vlog diaries produced between spring 2017 - spring 2019 are BACK by popular demand! New personal vlogs are now in the works. Creative and comical moments in time? Mere practice? Some self-centered, talentless, vain turd displaying his poor camerawork and editing skills? You decide who cares! Experimentalist transaction always a specialty in Rarer Media presentations. Indulging perspective as a primary instrument for understanding reality, I shall continue to elaborate in untold directions.

This is a short clip of home movie footage from around 1940 in an advanced state of decay that I found the other day. I needed some sound to accompany it, so I added a "song" I recorded in 1991. One time,
Danny Thomas tells it how it was in 'Let George Do It' (1955)

Two treats in one ❤ ding dongs
Standing 7 feet 7 inches tall, the late Sandy Allen appears in this 1979 Side Show movie!!
At the sign of the cougar kitten, this is a super Mercury Comet commercial!!
Originally released in 1965.
I'm hearing "Droopy."
About as opposite of The Fonz as he could get.
All the Kids playing until their dismay to the tired mom.
I do remember seeing this in the early part of the 70's.
It always has,Two Mints in One.
Certs had bunches of Flavors then.
We had this record growing up in the early 60’s. Played it many times and when I listened to it now I remembered the story and a lot of the dialogue. Funny how memories come back to you even after 60 plus years!
Before he was "The Fonz"
They were getting so far and then---she lives with her parents. Just think what would happen if she lived alone!!
Allen Swift provided the voiceover of the "King Ding Dong" Character.
Charged a Dime for one of their packs.Contained 8 Sticks.
Aired mainly in the early 70's.I remember seeing this bunches of times as a youngster.
That Made-For-TV-Movie is like SHOW BUSINESS!!!
Where did you come up with this? Really interesting. And the full story of this lady is even more fascinating. She's still going strong today, along with her husband that she met while taking time off from music to care for her ailing mother.
I bought her LP, pictured on the upload. I found Buttons "Little Mouse in the House" for $0.50 around 2002-ish and was mystified for years. She is amazing! I want all of her records.
@@t_shane_doyle I give her all the respect and credit in the world!
Sheer genius! I need an Ellen Marty T-shirt. I need to see both of the feature films that she appeared in. Hopefully, she is happy and healthy wherever she is today. Much respect!
Wow! Sounds like they're trying to make her into another Annette. I'm curious about her cover of "Man in a Raincoat". It's a haunting song, written in Toronto, Canada, and originally recorded by Priscilla Wright, the grand-daughter of Canada's Governor General.
I can't believe that I remember this!
I'm looking at this and thinking if only real life were as uncomplicated and sunny as these commercials.
Clever way of showing the competition without direct mention of the brands.
When your man smells like shit!!!
My brothers and I had this record as kids and we have been looking for it for about 45 years… we are going nuts right now.
That's Big Wilson doing the voiceover for Chase and Sanborn Coffee. This ad features former NFL stars Gail Cogdill and John Mackey. The second ad features Baltimore Colts stars Lou Michaels and John Mackey.
Coffee so strong your eyeballs will pop out!
Endust was decent!!
This was much better than Taster’s Choice which tasted burnt and smelled like burnt plastic!!
Before the Nestle/Carnation merger of the late 1980’s.
Tastes like poo!!!
One of the voices sounds like Professor Gizmo on the old "Ruff and Reddy" cartoon...no doubt Don Messick!
This is actually a Tart not Flan which is a Spanish or Mexican Dessert made of Milk Custard covered with Caramel Sauce.
2 different cars - the exterior shows a 4-door, the interior was a 2-door until they got to the part about rear-seat roominess specifically highlighting the 4-door.
At the sign of the cat...
Looks good!!
Cute commercial!!!
Coffee tastes like muck!!
That has to be Jay Scott and Bill Ward's animation.
Same vintage as their Freakies cereal...
I must have missed that one! Nothing I remember (even after looking at an ad for it from 1974).
I remember it from my childhood. But Addams Sour Wildberry and Sour Strawberry were my favourites.
Don Briscoe (RIP) is the husband in this commercial. Don was best known for being in daytime soap operas such as Days Of Our LIves and Dark Shadows.
RIP Jackson Beck, the voiceover in this commercial.
That’s marvelous!
During the early 1970s Ralston Purina owned the Cardinet Candy Company, which made U-No at the time. It was sold to the Annabelle Candy Company in 1978.
Thanks for some history on this!
Voice over: Jackson Beck
Thanks!
That's awesome! Thanks for sharing.
You bet!
