Thanks for this nice video. Back in 1976 I visited the museum ( Business trip to Chicago from UK ) I got a go on the controls of the Nebraska Zephyr loco up and down that track, thanks for reviving some great memories.

Traveling all over the place I see

I'm just an amatuer occasional train watcher but the old yellow and green Chicago and Northwestern is a train I remember from years ago. Also the bullet nosed blue Metra. I thought they were pretty streamlined looking and never could understand changing to the boxy looking engines we see today. Love all the cabooses. Haven't been to the museum for quite a few years. Guess I need to go again. Thanks for posting.

The horns on the Wisconsin Central diesel locomotive sounds exactly like the horns on the South Shore Line trains! I noticed the catenary supports came from the South Shore Line. I wish these horns were on all the trolleys especially on Light Rail Trolleys.
