I've had this song stuck in my head for days, and I hadn't made a video in a while, so I made a cute cat video. Enjoy.

Mattie and the New Boo Baby

The old catnip toy that Jim and I rigged was getting pretty crappy, so we made a new one with another lone man's sock, and here was Mattie with it. It took her about 5 seconds to go to town.

Hi

How do you do that auntie anne?
Dominus Cavern What do you mean? I used my computer and a screen recorder and then edited to add the music.
sad😭😢
Charizard gaming mega The word is Patriotic. The song God Bless the USA isn't a sad song. It's a patriotic one. I took a video of the Amtrak coming through historic Norcross and wanted to put it in somewhere because you just don't see passenger trains all that much anymore and my fam and I always take photos. Then there were the fireworks. It was great. The Star Spangled Banner, also patriotic, not sad.
really dipressing
It's not depressing, lol. It's patriotic. You have to get to the chorus. 😂

I own one and love it 1966 model 614 I would have sent mine to him sorry for the great loss
Great horologist and great brand of watches!
I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your grandfather. Accutron Spaceview watches have been part of our family since 1965 and holds a sentimental value. I purchased my M4 (1964) Spaceview back in 1981 because I was always fascinated by my father's Spaceview. My watch was always accurate and I don't ever recall adjusting the time other when replacing the battery. Couple years ago, I had the watch overhauled for my 50th birthday. Having a Spaceview serviced, mostly for cleaning and oiled, will last a life time.
What an awesome guy. And of course the typically horrible news commentary.
Just came across this today. Your grandfather seems like he was quite a man. Sorry for your loss. Thank you for sharing.
Great video, but not nearly as many watch related puns as I expect from such a program.
omg love the backround music carol... fits the vid so much... nice attack !!!!!

Sadly Mr. Rondal Lee Peters is no longer with us. We are losing these wonderfully talented watchmakers who enjoyed and loved working on these Bulova Accutron watches.
Go Patriots.
Funny video. I saw the video about your grandfather. And condolences. I was wondering if you have access to any of the old parts he used to use to fix the Accutrons? I have a few that need parts. I can fix them I just need a few things. Thank you, William
We sold all of the parts to the guy that fixes the Accutrons in Kingsport, TN. I think there is a guy in South Carolina as well that fixes watches. Best wishes for the start of a whole new year.
Thank you and best wishes as well.
so sorry bout what happen... did he pass to anyone on how to do to repair an accutron?
I think there's a guy in Kingsport, TN or maybe even a guy in South Carolina that still works on Accutrons. While my brother, my father, and I learned a lot, Accutron watches are an art that we never quite mastered. In fact, I think he specialized in it when he attended watch-making school. All the best for you and yours this holiday season.
i proudly say that i owned a bulova accutron astonaut, im just want to know who do it best just in case my accutron break down, will hope it will not...
They are pretty sturdy pieces. Just like my grandfather said: they're like Maytag stuff, they next to never need repairs.
just bought an Accutron...love it
Sure would be nice where to mail a sick Accutron to Mr. Peters for an Estimate for repair if he would be available to do so. Only would need a mailing address and contact information if he would like to begin working on Accutrons.
I'm so sorry to be the one to tell you this, but he passed away around Easter of 2012. I think there is a guy in Kingsport that still works on Accutrons if you Google it. Best of luck.
Thank you for posting.
I came across this video and realised that guys like this will be sadly missed as he was so talented and such a perfectionist.
Lololol this is way more fun then playing clash of clans lol so cute
I know right! I had fun making it as well as filming it. His fat butt gets exercise too.
Lol
Dammit, I wanted him to fix my watch. I didn't notice he had passed away. God Bless!
A gentleman and a genius, these take a great deal of skill to service and repair. Your memory will live on. I have 11 in my collection, looking for number 12.
Thank you for the Video, he will live on for ever
Thank you for your kind words. Apart from his family, Accutrons were his true passion. I'm so glad that he could share his passion with so many people.
I have four Accutrons. A 1963 model, 1970, 1971, and a 1972. My grandfather's 1970 Accutron still runs strong for almost half a century!
There is an old saying which sounds like: a man who works with his hands is a craftsman, a man wo works with his hands and brain is a worker, a man who works with his hands, brain and passion is an artist. Your Grandpa was an artist. Thamk you for sharing this.
I'm using an accutron right now, best watch ever made!! Pologize to quarts witch I hate!
Dear Mr. Peters....How great it is that you are still working on watches, especially Accutrons. I too am a Graduate Watchmaker from Bowman in Lancaster and Accutrons are my favorite watch to work on also. These is not like setting the indexing mechanism under 30X magnifcation and then kicking it off and watching it run. Its a total shame what they call an Accutron today....$25 quartz movement, nothing like a real Accutron. Ray Pontremoli, Sundial Technologies, Melbourne ,Florida
Alas, I wish he were still working on watches. He passed away 2 years ago just before Easter. Attending Bowman in Lancaster was by far one of the best times of his life, though. He met my grandmother there, and when he was done with school, she moved back to Tennessee with him. Thanks for your kind words.
Im so sorry to hear that and I am sorry for your loss. Bowman was a great school and when it closed I was really sad to see that a school with that kind of legacy went out of business by mis-management. Thank you for answering...My Best...Ray
I wish I could sum up just HOW amazing he truly was. I'm so glad he could share his passion of Accutrons with the world through this documentary. And your seller friend was right on the money- he was definitely attached to his watches until the very end. What a small world we live in. :)
I just learned that we now own an Accutron military clock that ur Papaw owned and had n his store, the guy who sold it to us told us the story that every time someone would ask him to sell it he wouldnt but finally one day he sold it to this friend of his that has now sold it to us. I just think that is Awesome because I have came across this post before and would of never of thought we would own something of his What an Awesome guy he must of been.
Sorry to hear of the passing of the Accutron Man, he restored my fathers Accutron divers watch many years ago for me. Just stumbled across this whilst looking for repair guy.
lol, all dem time jokes :P
I really enjoyed this video. Almost 20 years ago I apprenticed under a watchmaker who's speciality was Accutron movements, 214, 218 and their specific variations. From that I've been successfully repairing Accutron movements ever since. With how rare some models are, I wouldn't be surprised if a watch or two sitting on my bench has at some point passed through your grandfathers hands. Thanks for sharing, and to Mr. Peters... thank you for your dedication, rest in peace.
Your Gramps had it right about the Accutron. I got one for high school graduation in 1966. Unfortunately, I lost it while clearing brush just a few months later. I was devastated and still miss it to this day. Mine cost about $125 then, and looking at their prices now is truly sticker shock.
MsCapeters, thank you for posting this segment of your grandfather. I just recently started getting interested in vintage Accutrons and enjoy reading anything relating to them. What a treat to watch this short vid about a man who really knew and enjoyed Bulova Accutrons. Watching this reminded me of a time years ago, when American products led the way. Thanks again.
