In this video I discuss how to assign page to template in Divi Theme Builder inside WordPress. Divi theme is a popular WordPress theme that includes a theme builder to create custom templates.
We'll discuss the basics of how to set a page to a template inside the Divi Theme Builder. Here are the steps on how to do this:
1. Login to WordPress admin area.
2. Create your page or post.
3. Go to the Divi Theme Builder. You can get there from WordPress to Divi to Theme Builder.
4. Click on the cog icon for the template you want to use for your page.
5. Select the page from the list by clicking the checkbox next to it. For specific pages, mouse over the Specific Pages option and then select the page you want.
6. Click the save button on that popup.
7. Click the Save Changes button at the top left.
8. Go to the page or post you created. Open it up on the front end of your site.
9. Click the Enable Visual Builder button.
10. If you get a popup asking to select one of 3 options (Build from Scratch, Choose a Premade Layout, or Clone Existing Page). Simple choose Build from Scratch.
11. Edit the page as you normally do in Divi.
12. Click the save button when finished editing your page.
Theme Builder is a great way to create specific layouts and templates for pages and posts on your site.
