Yeah, it will do that. Lol. My first time putting them in the game my guys actually were killed by a bunch of them because I didn’t know what to expect. Heck, even in my shek-only play through, they still kick my ass more times than I can count. It’s not really their stats that get to you, although they are pretty strong individually. It’s the sheer number of them and how easy it is for them to overwhelm you. But it’s only one mod that I typically used to enhance difficulty… And, well, loot. What mods do you typically add to your game of Kenshi?

Yep! More Starsector content is coming. I'm just waiting for more of the modding community to catch up with 0.97a patch. Also, thanks for the suggestion. I'll include it in my vanilla playthroughs for the foreseeable future.

@@lazerguana You wont really need the speed up for the early game cuz fights are pretty fast but when you feel its taking too long then its time lol Its a really simpkle QOL mod and can be installed with any save

I actually had to look up this game. But I kind of see what you mean. I get a “ADOM meets dwarf fortress” feel from caves though. Pretty cool that it’s mobile actually. Is it free or do you have to pay something to play it?

@@lazerguana It's completely free to play and the ads aren't too intrusive. You can pay a couple bucks to remove the ads if you want.

I might give it a looksee. Finding quality mobile games is like finding needles and haystacks. You know I have maybe one or two games I play on mobile that I actually find any good

I’ll consider that but, honestly, if choose that route, Shek likely would be growing their own and shipping that shit everywhere. There’s probably going to be a huge “warn on drugs” in this playthrough. That is, the shek will likely sell drugs and eliminate all the competition. So maybe a “war FOR drugs”. … We’ll figure it out.

I'll be honest. The game did crash a lot so I think I got the load order messed. However, which in the mod interested you the most?

@@lazerguana I just wanted to try some new mods. I thought I had pretty much tried them all but saw a bunch of different ones there. I've played most of the overhauls including the Blood and Sand pack which has 300 mods. Load order is a huge component to minimize crashing if you can get that right, it really helps. Sometimes a conflict will cause it too. Sucks when you get so far only to have the game crash constantly. I'm watching your stream from last night now.

@@lazerguana Watching the battle at the end. One of the things that I found that really helps is to put all my guys on hold so they don't run off to do sh*t on their own. Then, if a base attack happens, I pull them back to an advantageous spot (usually inside base) where you have the superior numbers and then take off hold. Grab all non fighters and put in safe spot maybe in building with door closed. Or if you are losing, or they have no choice send them to fight or at least fight ones who broke through front line. You can quickly check all fighters by using tab and then using q and e to cycle through them. Choose everyone in the group using ~ tilda key. I find this easier. Otherwise with a larger group its hard to know who you've checked and haven't. Kenshi is a brutal game as I'm sure you know. It's hard when you lose good fighters or characters you get attached to.

Ok, the q key I didn't know ... that would have been VERY helpful. Thank you for that as I wouldn't have know if somebody didn't point it out. One thing I want to start trying to do is commentating over scenes of play through I’ve done. But in any case, it’s always great to have somebody who is a fan of my videos right from the beginning. Thanks dude! I have a tendency to make bases very fast due to the numerous benefits. Slowing myself down might have actually been good advice however. In an upcoming video, however, we get a bit of a break and we're able to get ourselves a shot at making our own weapons and armor so I think we're going to make it and be able to come back to UC and take our base back.

I like that suggestion for low sensor profiles. Any ship recommendations cause I like the idea of being a smuggler on the side.

Yeah Atlases are terrible for smuggling. One I thing I want to do is make a good colony so I have a place for my biggest ships while I go on smuggling runs. I want to spread drugs and armaments to the 'no-go' factions that try to outlaw them as illegal goods. Remember, having space cocaine isn't a problem ... until you run out ... Then NOT having space cocaine become the problem ... a profitable one.
