This animatic centers around Squirrelstar and her abusive relationship with Bramblestar, and how her idea of him does not coincide with who he really is. This is about her struggle between happiness, her forced relationship, the narcissistic abuse imposed by Bramblestar, and how it all circles back to her faith and Ashfur. Squirrelstar misses who Bramblestar was when they were younger, and stays with him because she's looking for any possible sign that the man she knew is still in there somewhere- but finally comes to realization he's actually what she fears. Though Squirrelstar can be hot-headed and stubborn, she does everything for the good of the people she loves and what she thinks is best- Yes, Squirrelstar does wrong, but does not deserve the abuse she endures.
I've been working on this since January, and I'm so happy to finally get this out. I relate to Squirrelstar a lot, and her struggles along with her relationship with Bramble.
