As someone in his 60s who finally decided to see if he can learn to sketch and draw after telling myself all these years that "You can't draw, don't even bother to try" because I was probably told that in primary school by a poor excuse for a teacher. Having watched 9,374 different Loomis head videos. (+/-), yours is really the first one that really clicked for me. I really think that it's because you started with the completed face and kind of worked backwards so it was clear how one was the foundation the other is built on. So many videos, at least for me, did a poor job of showing how the various guidelines and helps form a scaffold that the face gets built on, and how it's built to modified to fit that particular face. My one {minor} complaint would be that you sometimes draw a bit quickly, simply because you've done more than a couple as you learned. I found it best to download the video, and at times play it back at 50 or even 25% speed to see just how to make that freaking ear. 😂 Looking forward to starting to get the hang of this week, and graduate to the ones where the person isn't conveniently looking straight ahead like a passport photo. Super long post, but maybe it will get this promoted to others. You rock !

you sure know how to draw dude but a little text explanation would go a long way. explain why you do the things that you do, otherwise I can just look at some loomis heads on pinterest instead of watching your video. It is relaxing tho!
