Research constant current verse constant voltage. The stick welder is constant current and is difficult to keep the arc going. Still an interesting project though, but to make it work will take some more electronics

it's quite unclear where the battery connects to.... at 10:15 you installed a dock for the battery but didn't really show where it connects to

I think there was a missed opportunity here in making it fit a replaceable standard jigsaw blade, reciprocating saw blade or hacksaw blade instead of gluing a non-standard blade in, but still a great idea nonetheless.

pwm을 이용하면 모터가 망가진다. 28v까지 전압이 올라가기 때문에 모터가 망가진다. 영상의 무분별한 pwm 사용은 초보자들을 헷갈리게 만든다.

thats the same stick welder i have. convert it to mig. use a 24 volt dc 2 amp power supply to feed power to the wire feed motor. get a small gas tank for gas: argon or co2. later add on a small oxygen tank. many types of wire feeders are available now

i would recommend to buy a metal wire feed assy. because the plastic ones use plastic gears that arent as durable. also you can use a cheap power supply to drive the unit . just make sure it can put out enough current to drive the wire feed motor. 2 amps is typical and a lot of these cheap power supply units only put out only around 1 amp so you cant use them. 12 or 24 volts dc.

Using speed control is bad idea, at low speed there is no torque, at higher speed the mosfets burns at heavy load.

it won't work as it should, because basically MMA (SMAW) welding requires constant current while MIG/MAG ( GMAW ) requires constant voltage, the machine has a different way of working, you're just wasting your money and time
