All the same shit rockstar does. The Ubisoft hate is old. Ubisoft make games for kids so their games are tame. Rockstar make games for teens so their games are edgy.

I love how in gta iv you could be near an explosion and not instantly die. Same goes for vehicles like shooting an rpg at a helicopter can sometimes make it lose control from the concussive blast and smack into other things especially if the rocket is just barely out of range. In gta v explosions mean automatic death if you’re anywhere near it unless they purposely lower the amount of damage you sustain such as from an explosive sniper. Makes combat more exciting.

I thought it was my fav too until I played it more, saw bugs, bad ai, bad mission design and how game can be broken not even remaster fixes anything

Btw i herd a few roomers about a 4th one in the works but its not confirmed yet but im keeping a bit of hope a bit oh and i think the mafia games have always been a hard of there time in terms of game micanics there great and i think sometimes people forget that gta is sometimes not first to the game for ground breaking effects or micanics

I am impressed by the game The Witcher 3. 41st playthrough right now so.

I played through Cyberpunk and it's DLC last year and also put about 25 hours into Starfield and man.... These two are worlds apart. Like who on Earth would think that CP2077 is the 60$ cross gen game while Starfield is the 70$ "next gen game". In Starfield the writing is ass, animations are ass, combat is extremely mediocre both on foot and with ships, the UI is ass, there is no real open world feeling only small patches of incredibly empty and boring worlds. Graphics are also outdated but the game still runs like ass, it has insane amounts of loading screens. Also just look at Neon and compare it to any parts of Night City. Neon is hilariously family friendly and uninspired. Like what is even that night club in Neon?? It feels like it was designed by 14 year olds that think a futuristic night club should look like that. Quest design is also stuck somewhere in the late 2000s. All in all Starfield is just incredibly bland for a sci fi, supposedly open world game. After a certain amount of time there is zero sense of exploration.

actually the biggest difference is that youre comparing a game that had 3 years of intensive surgery, vs a game that havent even had one big content realse yet. btw no mans sky players does the same after EIGHT years of fixing, ignoring how they both looked less than a year after release. id say give it time. bethesda usually flesh out and fixes their games with DLC, yes even new vegas had this treatment
