This looks like the truck I saw a week ago where a woman tried to steal another woman's keys in a parking lot, the police got called and when police responded, the woman that was trying to to steal keys, played the victim and police arrived in a cruiser, she jumped into the police cruiser while the cop came out of the cruiser and stole it. Minutes later she tried to pass a semi on the right list control of the cruiser hit a truck like this one killing two instantly and another died of his injuries later in the hospital. You can see this video in UA-cam.

There are some wrecks you look at and just know they didn't survive it.

That looks like a roughly 80mph impact with a solid tree. The vehicle actually held up remarkably well, look how almost the entire nose is gone, yet the passenger compartment is still roughly intact. Sadly, this was very likely an unsurvivable accident. The G forces involved in such a sudden stop is far beyond what can be controlled by restraint systems and deformation zones. This is not a criticism of the auto makers, it’s simply how physics works. High speed, sudden stop, and not enough time in between = human soup. Beyond a certain speed, imo about 60mph, if you do survive it’ll likely be with life long severely debilitating injuries.

Towed for 2 decades, trucks that look that bad usually are fatal, and biohazard. Actually surprised to not see dried blood everywhere.

The 61 to 63 Pontiac tempest is similar. The transmission is a lever on the dashboard. And a transmission is the rear pumpkin where the axle is. The frame is also strange with a single frame member in the middle splitting off at each end at approximately a 45° angle. Revolutionary for its time. A weird one for sure.
