You know a lot of people immediately jump on this song because they view it as offending the son of God. Truly, I believe this song just has a simple message that everyone should follow or at least understand the positivity in such a message. And that is, to be your own God. You can believe in a God or Gods that’s fine but you shouldn’t give you life to something that could or could not exist. I am a agonist, I believe that a god or gods may exist but I am unwilling to shape myself to serve any certain God or god’s. I believe the world would be much better that instead of living for someone you don’t even know you live for yourself or for people who are truly here with you now. This is definitely my favorite song from the Only God Can Judge Me album.

I don’t know what to say about this song, all I can say man is it’s truthful and it gets down that feeling of never being able to be happy. I believe Mrs. Robinson represents us all who struggle with mental health. The main lyrics feels as if it’s just a message from someone who fucked up so many times and just don’t care if they hurt no one no more, they just want to say the truth of what they think of us, and by us, people who cannot be happy, people who are unlikeable because of their depression or mental health struggles and people who just refuses to accept the truth. It’s some crazy deep shit man and I’m all here for this song.
