Great psychedelic rock from the late sixties. The band was founded by former "The Litter" guitarist Zippy Caplan and Woody Woodrich.
Another brilliant production By the legendary Mr Dekker! His country certainly produced some of the most talented people ever to walk gods earth 😊🇯🇲🇯🇲
Is there any live versions of this song?
DESMOND DEKKER SENSARIONAL PERFORMER❤

I grew up in Finland near Russian border. I often listened Ten Years After it was cool. Unfortunately the Russians behind the Iron Curtain had no chance for American Music.
You're Welcome. Authentic 1968 Hippies 🥰🌷🙏🤯🤣♥️
TEN YEARS AFTER~70>VERY BEST OF THE TOP OF THE CLASSIC SONGROCKNUMBER~!!
I'm singing and playing drums. You can find me on FB or Twitter. Love you 🎶🦍😝Mickey Stanhope.
Seattle guy for 35 years, from Mankato and Zippy has been the shit from the beginning.
Garage bands tend not to play before huge crowds in Woodstock
El otro lado de Ten Years After!!!!!
It's getting harder, babe, to love you, It's getting harder all the while. And if you want me, tell me; all you have to do is smile. It's been a long time since I've seen you, Looking straight into my eyes. And if you want to leave me, it'll come as no surprise. I tried to hard - to make a home for you. Tell me straight now, what am I supposed to do? It's getting harder, girl, to love you, 'Cause you're treating me so cruel. But if it's over, tell me; I don't want to be the fool. I tried too hard - to work our problems out. So if it's over, honey please don't drag it out. It's getting harder, babe, to love you, 'Cause our lives have grown apart. If you don't want me, tell me; I don't want to break your heart. I tried too hard - to make a home for you. Tell me straight now, what am I supposed to do? It's getting harder, babe, to love you; Tell Me what you want with me. If you don't love me, tell me, Honey, then I'll set you free.
This has to have been recorded during the 80's you can tell by the cheesy synthesizers and ball-less production.
Top 37jams in this. World. Yup
I think this is about as disco as they ever got ...........and WOW what a great tune ......and RIP Mr Alvin Lee

Zippy Caplan was in the LITTER in 1967 on ABC/Probe records out of Chicago.....Micky Stanhope was in the "FADED BLUE" in Chicago.......the LITTER played with CREAM in May of 1968......May 11th. Within 6 weeks White Lightning was a new CREAM trib band.....Bogged was thought to be a CREAM song on the Midwest top 40 radio...it hit # 4.......Micky on drums, ( I had to go back to Chicago & steal Mick outtta "Faded Blue" ), Woody Woodrich a pal to me,. Zip & David Z...Woody decided to play bass in the TRIO...and this is the result. LIGHTNING went 5 piece in late 1969....Illinois dude......Bernard Pershey on da skinssssss, Me rockin' RonnieROCK on 2nd lead.......this was a rockin' band that blew up a chance to stay on ATCO records........then Ronnie put together CISCO GROVE with genius player/write Bill Dowd........
Uno de mis grupos favoritos de los 70, si no el que más. Ten Yeras After BRAVO !!!!
Whoa! Cool sound. Anybody know if they've got anything else like this?
"somebody callin' me" maybe.
Thanks.
A garage band no way !!!! Rest In Peace Alvin Lee
garage band ???????? questa era una delle più' grandi band di rock blues della fine 60 e primi 70 questa canzone non gli rende omaggio erano gia' in declino
sandro cantini lo
Most mixes of this have the organ really low. Did you enhance it or something? Great song BTW
Reminds me of 'Country Joe & the Fish' a bit.
TYA a garage band? Dude, thanks for the video but that's a fucked up thing to say about one of the best blues-rock bands ever.
Garage band?....... No answer
Blues-Rock Band.
Heard it on radio 2 in the afternoon the other day, Really liked it, No idea who the artist was, Thought it might have been a new song !
Fuck GEMA, why can´t I see more tracks of TYA?
Great song! Alvin was soooo much more than Woodstock, which wasn't so shabby, but this explores his versatility. He could do it all...psychedelic, blues, jazz, rock, ballads.....and funk.
l2string heey thanks for the cover and it is great to know someone who likes TYA.
Hey thanks! I do 7-8 songs from 'A Space in Time' on my channel.
I so agree with spacecase1950These bands from this era created Rock and Roll and so much music we have today, along with the blues players and singers from earlier such as B. B. King Muddy Waters aNd Etta James LONG LIVE THE BLUES AND ROCK AND ROLL.
Heard the news of Alvin's unexpected passing. Thanks Alvin for all of the great music and memories you left us. Sleep well.
c est pas mal agreable a ecouter
If Andrew VanWyngarden was listening to this, he'd be taking several hits of the kindest bud.... :)
impressive
Does anyone have an idea what the meaning of the song is?
This song makes no sense at all...
I guess that is about the masks everyone use in their lives, there is a movie from 1932 called The mask of Fu Manchu
funky good!
Love it! Thanks for posting it.
wow, it was hard to find this....awesome!
