For 49 years of my career driving a truck, the NTC Cummins and the N 14 Cummins was 99% of what I drove one of the best motors that was ever built
Personally I'm a cat guy, but the n14 is definitely my favorite out of the Cummins family!
@@brendenhuntcustom I have drove 3406 cat one time and it was a hoss
I have a couple videos on my page of our 3406 B and E model, they're tanks!
@@brendenhuntcustom okay thanks I live in Newnan Ga retirement OK but it’s not what is cracked up to be
I have to go turbo till his ground and I hate it because of how steep some of it is lol
All I gotta say is good luck to ya brother! There's a pile of sprayer ruts all over the place that wasn't very fun to bounce across😂. The ground is definitely starting to get better though, did you turbo till it last year fall?
I didn’t know you cut Casey’s corn
How many bushels are you talking in?
@@Evan21savage corn I can squeeze on a little over 1100, beans I usually take a little over 1000
@@brendenhuntcustom figure about around there
Nice work bud
Thanks 👍
Never done silage but looks to be a messy job but I've heard silage smells good.
Nothing wrong with getting dirty. Just shows you work hard. Dirty hat and shirt is a bonus. 👍
Great video Brenden. Really enjoyed it. Sorry you had so many break downs but at least you were able to deal with it and hopefully get the job done!
It was a tough year for sure! Very blessed to have made it through.
So what does the hammer on the tire do?
Basically the easy way to check tires if you don't have a pressure gauge on hand. Walk around the truck/trailer and give a firm hit on each tire, and the hammer should bounce back at you! If it sounds like it bottomed out or has a different pitch than the other tires, chances are it's flat! Saves a lot of time instead of sticking the gauge in every valve stem.
You're almost at 1000 subscribers! 👍
So close!
Nice! Love it! Probably much better in person .
Love the jake brakes, will never get tired of hearing them.
They're the best!
Sound of the silage harvester's motor is amazing .
I love listening to it!
Can't you do anything right ? 😂
Haha nope! Never ending story!
Yes as bad as pulling a two wheel silage wagon and loading the rear section before load the front. No traction and a face full of corn silage.
Definitely 1 and 3 those 8670s were awesome tractors
1 for sure
🤘🏽
Lucky you have a windshield
I'm changing it to a 1969 Chevy impala
🤘🏽
Number one only thing I’m changing is the owner to my self
Right there with ya🤘🏽
When do farmers care about the day of the week. Farming is everyday.
Farming is definitely everyday! But everyone struggles on a Monday hence the joke.
@@brendenhuntcustom I meant no offense. What you experienced was not even a struggle. Struggle is the livestock going through the fence, while going to town, to get a part for a 30 yr old tractor during planting, when rain is in the forecast, and the tractor in a low spot, that will soon be mud. But the cows be at the neighbors. We call that Thursday, Monday going make you a man. Henry down the road, 4th generation farmer, hardest worker I know, having trouble keeping his land because of corporate government bs, now THATS a struggle. Praised be JESUS.
Not saying that situation was a struggle, my joke is that we always have breakdowns on Mondays. I'll have a video coming out end of this week where our chopper snapped a blower housing on the spout, and it took us 7 hours to pull it out, and have to make a 800 mile round trip just for the part! Not taking offense, just saying stick around on the channel and you'll see what the Monday joke is about!😀
There's nothing like silage grease that drys out on the equipment..Been 50 yrs ago ran a JD 4630 and 2 row chopper..with a dump wagon .. 960 acres of corn silage 18 yrs old.. crack of dawn till late into night. Never damage anything but was taught maintaining your equipment 4 times a day ... And make the tractor give all it had.. Today, those 1,000 hp cutter 12 rows unbelievable
Times have definitely changed! We've just got a 6 row in ours, but it keeps 4 trucks busy!
3 and 4
Which model, how many rows, mph?
@@psolsrud 7400 with a 7500 motor, 6 row, and depends on the corn. We were running about 6.5mph in this video
It’s a good song in the beginning
Aren't we all by our parents?
that truck sounds fantastic , and that chopper is flying through that corn , hope you got the chopper sorted
Thank you! We don't mess around when it comes to knocking out the acres!
Dose the wheel make them do that?
This video was so good! Great job explaining everything. Love the interactions as well
Preciate it brother!
My newphew....who is a kid...is allergic to grass 😑
It's rough! Any specific part of just grass in general?
That’s crazy considering parts of corn are in so many products
It's mainly the pollen and part of the plant that gets me, the rest of it doesn't bother me
