Segundo cópia do parecer 05/2005 que tornou de interesse público e social, o acervo do Museu da Cia. Antarctica Paulista, sob a guarda da AMBEV, está atualmente depositado no prédio da antiga creche da fábrica desativada da Mooca. Nesse parecer foram relacionados todos os bens que até então estavam em exibição na sala da Fábrica de Essências exibida nesse vídeo, sob os cuidados do fundador, curador e eterno Hedemir Linguitte, que hoje completaria 100 anos de idade.

Oscar winner James Bernard was born James Michael Bernard on September 20, 1925 and died on July 12, 2001. These 3 masterful scores have never been commercially released or re-recorded in their entirety. I've put them together here away from the visuals so people don't forget how good they are on their own. Film score fans are eager. What are soundtrack producers waiting for? *Curse of Frankens...

My guess is that the choice was hers. If Sills wanted that D it would be there.
There are active plans in the works for orchestral recordings of both CURSE OF FRANKENSTEIN and HORROR OF DRACULA. This is a project of Tadlow Records and James Fitzpatrick who worked with Bernard on the SilvaScreen recordings. Also There are quite marvelous MIDI reconstructions of Curse, Dracula, Risen From the …and Prince of Darkness created by Gaetano Malaponti who presents a FB group called the Film Music Midi Group. Wonderful. Thanks for posting. The most effective musical scores ever written (in my not so humble opinion).
Thanks for sharing your work of love for the music of Mr.Bernard, or Jimmy, as he prefered to be called, even by fans he'd never met in person like myself. I was lucky enough to reach and interview Jimmy Bernard on the phone back in 1995 when I was working on radio. I could never air this nice and educative conversation but hope to share it in some way. one day, hopefully soon. And, as you say, a pitty many of his scores haven't been and will probably be never released on album or cd. The last time we exchanged letters he was happy about his Nosferatu score and he of course sent me a signed copy of the cd. He's missed today but his music lives on, specially with the recovery of his legacy for Hammer Film on the bluray releases of those classic movies.

Wow! Is there a reason behind not releasing it?
They have been lots of James Bernard scores re-recorded for CD: TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA, DRACULA PRINCE OF DARKNESS, FRANKENSTEIN CREATED WOMAN, SHE, THE DEVIL RIDES OUT... plus an original Dracula suite done for the LP Hammer released in the 1970s... plus the original tracks of FRANKENSTEIN MUST BE DESTROYED and FRANKENSTEIN & THE MONSTER FROM HELL. Jimmy was still around and actively involved in the new recordings. He also was commissioned to do new, very Hammer-esque score for NOSFERATU, and did the title and incidental music for a documentary on Universal Horror in the 1990s.
Ted Newsom the music heard here was never re-recorded. DRACULA PRINCE OF DARKNESS was never re-recorded in its *entirety*. Just parts of it in compilations. TASTE THE BLOOD OF DRACULA, SHE and THE DEVIL RIDES OUT had their original soundtracks released. The original soundtrack of FRANKENSTEIN CREATED WOMAN was never released.
